I had a smooth experience overall; the item I was sent arrived at the facility, was forwarded to my address in the EU via UPS, and arrived safely.

However, their communication is a bit unreasonable. They sent me an invoice towards the end of a Thursday. I was out of town for a long weekend, and in that time I received a daily reminder that my invoice was "past due."

Apparently if you don't pay it immediately once it's sent (*not* immediately upon receipt), it's past due. By the time I checked my inbox on Tuesday, I had two emails per day from the business. The ones sent on Monday and Tuesday read: "It is particularly unpleasant to chase you for payment."

Of course, I'm all for paying for services rendered, but the immediacy felt unreasonable. It's a pity as the shipping itself went great, but this doesn't make me eager to use them again.

Also: Be sure to check the reviews for swissmailbox.com as well. This .biz address redirects to that site and they appear to be the same company, but with a very different review profile.

Swissmailbox picked my watch and shipped it very professionnaly and smoothly.

Actually I was not fully able to utilize this service, but had really great customer support twice. I purchased the 'one-time-use' service. Firstly, the vendor I purchased from had a delay with shipping out the item, so I contacted Swissmailbox and asked what happens if it doesn't arrive within the 15 day window. They kindly put the service on pause for me, so no extra charges were made. Secondly, the vendor ended up cancelling the order because they didn't have any in stock afterall. I informed Swissmailbox and they said they'd keep my adress on pause for another 6 months in case I would make any order in the future. Such great service I was moved to write a review :)

They helped me send a package delivered in Switzerland and forward it to my country. They sent me pictures of the package and handled all the forwarding mail process. Once they got the package around July 12, they sent to me and it arrived in my country July 18. After customs clearance, it arrived in my home in July 27. It is an expensive service they fulfilled my need (19 swiss francs for shipment fee + 3 swiss francs for customs declaration) .

There is no doubt that SwissMailBox's service is world class, professional, efficient and – as I personally experienced – goes beyond the letter of the law. Alex and the team attended to each and every one of my queries with patience and understanding.

On a few occasions, where the sender did not indicate my unique mailbox number, Alex and the team at SwissMailBox did everything in their power to track the package down – even catching up with postal couriers to ensure the package was found – making certain the items were safely forwarded.

If you're looking for a mail-forwarding agent in Switzerland to handle Swiss and European packages, SwissMailBox's outstanding service is definitely worth the small monthly fee.

Any concerns or worries are responded to in 24hours, usually within the hour. Account set up was even completed on a Sunday. All Swiss shops I use are happy to deliver to my SwissMailBox address.

Parcels are scanned and photographed and an alert email is sent as soon as your packages have been processed. You can then wait to consolidate several items or proceed with forwarding immediately.

I'm definitely going to be a returning customer for the foreseeable future. Swiss Post are facing significant delays to UK but were also extremely helpful in tracking my parcel and reassuring me. My goods arrived in 11 days, securely packed with professionalism.
