Called for some advice before buying and very impressed by the easy honesty chat. No pressure, no urgency to get off the phone. Just gutted they are literally 359 miles away from me, so not exact my local.

They had exactly what I wanted, but I found the building to be soulless and clinical which detracted from the "experience" - isn't that we are told we are now supposed to have? I would much prefer an old barn or similar to some antiseptically clean and unfeeling office.

I wanted to bag the very best top end scope kit for birding - after a lifetime in the field with very good optics. Russell was thorough and patient - showing me all options and combinations.
