Best file sync service with the best pricing that I've been able to find. I've been using Sync for several years now without any problems. Highly recommend!

I don't often rate anything 5/5 or 10/10 because, to me, that means perfect and nothing is perfect. But Sync.com is pretty close. Secure, sharable, it's been great for me. I've just renewed my annual subscription again.

Sync is a great alternative to any cloud storage out there. Privacy is #1. Let's keep that in mind. Yes, there are times where I hit some snags using the iOS app or the mac app but it does not keep me from saying it has been my favorite cloud storage service I've used. Images could load faster on the web panel and on the iOS app but I figure that it's the price you pay for a true zero-knowledge service. Highly recommended.

Reliable back-up / Sync solution with both Windows and Android apps working fine (as used by me). Also the free plan is generous. Not to forget that zero knowledge encryption is included in all plans!

Using Sync form last 2018 to till today. They have got my back almost 6 years! Yeah, that's right. Silently they are doing their fine work. Like a good friend of mine. Thanks to the team.

Use this to sync a folder between 2 pcs so that I can easily pass files between them. I was using SyncThing but it just didn't seem as quick at recognizing the change so i looked elsewhere. I like the fact that my files are E2EE but i'm not sure if the actual filenames are or not? Still, as the free tier is enough for what I need, I am happy as it does what it says on the tin. I did add a phone to see how that worked in the mix and found it to be equally painless in copying files across.

CUSTOMER SERVICE: Slow and inefficient. It takes days for them to get back to you.
PRODUCT: Syncing is slow. Download and upload. Yes, it depends on your internet plan, but one can do the maths and uploading 100GB photos from my phone... I had it running for 2 weeks constantly and 12GB were uploaded on a 10mbps upload plan. download the same. Its pathetic. I bought 2TB and since the beginning I get error messages: Sync cannot connect to the network and sync unable to backup some files. Sent it to support, but a normal conversation is not possible as it takes 2 weeks to exchange 3 messages. A refund had been denied. I won't even use the service for the year I have the subscription to, because the service is not fit for purpose. I cannot stand companies with this sort of attitude.
SUMMARY: Not recommended at all. I am trying pcloud now and they seem faster.

Customer Service is nonexistent. We use Sync for all our team members and contractors. And then it stopped syncing. This was over a week ago, and there is still no solution.

Been with Sync for 6+ years. Unfortunately, their service has become buggy and unusable. Files refuse to Sync and/or get deleted. Their support is non-existent. Sync was once a great product. It's sad to see their service deteriorate to this point.

I've been with Sync for a while now and had no issues. But as with everything, it's when you have a problem that you see the true value of a business ... or NOT. I have lost 6 jobs ... I moved them to another folder and they just vanished. I have the folders ... but not the work within them. I have tried and tried to get help but their INCREDIBLY SLOW responses are very generic and not helpful at all. I'm absolutely gutted and will be trying to persist to get my work back but will be moving to Dropbox. Nobody wants to lose their precious files. Isn't this why we use cloud storage after all?

I have been with Sync for 7yrs, fortunately never had a disaster, and it was great to be able to access my files from my cellphone, then on April 2nd, I noticed nothing had been backed up for three days. Nothing I did made any difference so I contacted Support by email, the first reply, just told me to do, what I had told them I had done. The second told me that the problem was that my software was out of date. sent me the wrong uninstaller, with the right one, my screen went black, leaving only a search bar. Fortunately this allowed me to do a system restore. Despite reporting this update, I heard no more from them, until I deleted my Account. If you value your data, don't use Sync.

Coming from Dropbox, I find Sync.com to lack a few features, but the nail in the coffin in the slow upload speeds. It's totally unusable for me waiting 10 minutes to upload 400mb when with other services it is basically instant. They

I was loving this sync-to-desktop service, until it broke, which was right after I upgraded to add team members. I lost folders on my desktop 3 days ago. They are there in the cloud, but that's not where I do my work. In spite of repeated attempts to reach support, other than one response asking for more info after the THIRD reach-out, I just get automated replies. NOT HAPPY. This KILLED my productivity for 3 days and it's still not fixed!

I do feel like the company does a good job with privacy and it's easy to download and upload documents online and work on them with the build in Word app. However, I have had issues with the actual Sync app on my Mac Studio. When I upgraded to the latest version last year, things stopped working. I had to downgrade to get it to work again. Support was very friendly and helpful. However, the Sync app could use some improvement in its functionality.

Slow as hell, tricky do download folders which should be an easy feature, many errors within the application/software, ...

Great for backing up to but absolutely useless (and I mean USELESS) for restoring from.

I’ve been with Sync for over 5 years but now I need a Linux solution (Sync doesn’t have) and transfer (download) 3TB of data stored in Sync. Easier said than done. When it comes to downloading, your only option is via the sync desktop app. Absolutely useless unless you have 3TB of spare capacity on your HDD for the sync folder it operate. For whatever reason, they specifically state that downloading to an external HDD or a mapped network drive is forbidden and downloading via a browser can only be done on a per file basis, no directories, can you believe it? You can’t even see the size of a directory, let alone download one.

May have been a good service when they first started up but now there are much cheaper and more flexible solutions available.

I shifted my personal cloud files from Dropbox to Sync after discovering that my files weren't being stored securely. I've been a Sync user for many years now and cannot recommend the service more highly. A key feature I needed was local access to my cloud files from my iPhone, iPad and Mac Finder and Sync does this perfectly (other secure cloud storage services were clunky at best for Mac Finder integration).

My personal experience with Sync has been excellent. I've been using it for a few years now, and while I have accounts on other cloud storage and collaboration services, I find myself turning to Sync the most. They provide secure cloud storage, with a web interface and apps that make it easy to use. I find that other services are often confusing to use, especially across different platforms, but in my experience, Sync has eliminated the confusion. It doesn't matter what machine I'm using, it is easy to add, access, and retrieve my files. And a bonus for a Canadian is that my files are stored in Canada! I highly recommend Sync.
