Payment issues
The customer service on a whole is poor, I spent hours trying to contact somebody from Tabeo. Firstly I tried their number which is now unavailable for customers to call, which is unacceptable considering the amount of money involved in these types of payments. I sat waiting on a live chat for someone to talk to for hours with no response, and then had to send 2 emails in the hope someone would reply asap. I had assistance from a person named Penny who was very helpful, but suggested that my actions were the reason for a double payment. They stated “I cancelled my direct debit before the payment was taken” which was false. I gave payment on Monday to which I then swapped my bank details for another account, to which the payment was taken a second time on the Friday. This is an unacceptable process as a lot of money is involved as stated above, and I was told I can only be refunded in up to 10 working days. This is a considerable amount of money to be down for 2 weeks. Overall service wasn’t great and I wouldn’t choose again for a loan.

I also asked a time scale on which the changes take place and when the confirmation email woukd come through to which I got no response

Awful company to deal with. The customer service is non existent over a prolonged period of time (2 years plus). We are stuck with them as their competition is non existent. Great for patients, shocking for everyone else.

Take payments for treatment that didn’t happen. A hassle to cancel the loan and when I finally managed to do so I received a refund of one month’s payment despite having made 10 monthly payments!! I can only contact them via email or we chat, which is a red flag, then to compound the problem I was told by Eugenia the policy is they refund each monthly payment separately. Absolute nonsense. When I asked to be put through to someone with authority to provide a solution I get sent the complaint email and ended the chat. I will be reporting to the FCA. Absolute scandalous conduct for a finance broker.
