Very disappointing experience with Tailwind.
I contacted their support team multiple times because the platform was not working properly for me. I even sent several screenshots showing the issues, but the responses were very poor. Most of the replies were only one line and did not properly address the problems.
I understand that their terms say “no refunds", but when a service is clearly not working properly and a customer provides proof of issues, the support team should at least investigate and give proper assistance. Unfortunately, that did not happen.
Yesterday I asked them to cancel my subscription. They replied to the last question, not this question, but when I asked a follow-up question, I received no response at all. The communication feels incomplete and unprofessional.
Also, some of the AI features produce poor or incorrect outputs.
Overall, the service and customer support are very disappointing and not worth the amount charged. Based on my experience.
Don’t use Tailwind. The service offers no subscription reminders, no refunds, and unclear cancellation instructions. They continued charging my card even after it expired.
horrible experience. i signed up for tailwind annual plan just to use their smartpin feature. 2 weeks in, the smartpin feature stopped working for my urls. after 2 more weeks of back and forth with their customer service, they confirmed that it was a bug. so i asked for a refund because i have no use for tailwind if i can't use smartpins. they said no. what kind of company refuses a refund even though their app is not working as intended.. horrible customer service. stay away from this company.

We ordered another one asking if the hinge we received was interchangeable which they responded it was! We ordered another sleeve for the hinge but they sent a sleeve with no ability to insert a hinge. So…. You have to return perfect or buy another complete brace. Would advise against it.

Tailwind charged my card the regular price despite being on the “Free Plan.” The company has not responded to multiple emails. Customer service doesn’t get any worse than this!

I was a winner of a Pinterest Inclusion Fund for our work representing diverse communities and underrepresented markets in media and advertising. I am a small female owned independent business and this was incredibly exciting. As part of winning this programme with Pinterest they gifted us a years subscription with tailwind as part of the offer, the rep from tailwind said when they helped me log on that yes we need to put our card details in but showed us how the link they provided to us as a winner mean't we would not be charged for this subscription as we were a winner. However, like many people on here I have been charged a renewal of this subscription and recieved no renewal email, I had my IT team search our m365 accounts and this can not be found. The chat bot on the website sent a screen shot of an email they said proves they sent one. The screenshot of this email subject line was not titled renewal in the subject I would like to add it was titled "see what you have accomplished this last year" which is a clear sign they are deliberately trying mislead customers and not notify them with a reminder email, this is a cloaked reminder email under the appearance of a review and regular marketing. The notification of the renewal is in the last paragraph. Regardless this email was never received, and no receipt/invoice or confirmation of the renewal being processed was ever received either. Again like so many on here, we saw it on our card statement. I have emailed the help email account 8 times and got no response, I am chatting to a unhelpful and rude representative via their chat bot and like so many on here who have experienced the same rude and a terrible customer service which only reaffirms the customer service culture of this business. Not only does this reflect so badly on the business, for me it is reflecting badly on their partners like Pinterest, I won the competion because of my work representing underrepresented people, and was told being a small female business this is the kind of businesses Pinterest and Tailwind wanted to promote and support, but by being part of this competition with Pinterest I have been targeted by unethical businesses like Tailwind who we can all clearly see online are aware of the customer complaints on their charging structures and yet choose to do nothing about it so it is clearly deliberate. This relets badly on Pinterest to choose to partner with a business like this. I am a British company they are mean't follow GDPR rules and regulations and they need to remove my card details they can not store them and repeat charge. Tailwind delete my data, delete my account and refund my small business for this charge. You have provided no service, only frustration and disappointment in the platform and Pinterest for partnering with you.
I’ve used Tailwind before and appreciated some of its features, but my recent experience with their renewal policy and customer support was truly disappointing. My annual subscription renewed automatically with only one email that went straight to spam — no reminder or confirmation at all.
When I reached out for help, I was assisted by Mike from customer support. Unfortunately, he was unnecessarily rude and dismissive in his replies, showing little to no empathy toward my frustration. I understand policies exist, but the tone and lack of understanding were unacceptable.
Tailwind keeps your payment information and charges automatically, even if you haven’t used the platform for months. They send dozens of marketing emails weekly, yet something as important as a renewal notice gets lost in the noise.
Good tools rely not only on features but also on customer care — and in this case, Tailwind failed on that front.
I'm loving Tailwind! The SmartPin scheduler is out of this world and really creates a more efficient workflow for me. I also am very happy with the bulk Ghostwriter to assist with crafting pin titles and descriptions. Overall, I'm pretty excited about Tailwind and it seems like they just keep making it better and better!
Tailwind has helped me tremendously as I am building my small business. The 'Design Pins' feature has saved me immense time, and allows me to schedule pins far in advance. I can't get months of pins scheduled in just one morning. I highly recommend this app!

If you're a busy creative trying to grow your business without burning out, Tailwind is a solid time-saver.
We were accidentally charged for the annual subscription with just one click — no second confirmation screen. Honestly, we were alarmed at first due to the amount involved (USD599.88). But after contacting Tailwind's support team, we received a prompt and clear response from their representative, Mike.
He not only confirmed the refund had been processed but also provided full transaction details, including:
Authorization number
Transaction ID
Batch number
When we contacted our bank with this info, they were able to trace it and confirmed that the refund was in progress. It turned out the issue was not on Tailwind’s end, but with how the bank handled the reversal timing.
Mike even followed up again to ensure we had everything we needed. That level of dedication gave us full confidence that this is not a scam, but a legitimate and trustworthy service with real support behind it.
We feel comfortable continuing to use Tailwind and are grateful that the situation was resolved fairly and transparently.

I have been using Tailwind for years. It makes managing my Pinterest account extremely easy. Tailwind is often updated with new features in response to changes in social media and Pinterest trends. The Tailwind support team is always friendly, and open to suggestions and feedback.

I am a long-time fan of Tailwind! Tailwind makes bulk scheduling pins a breeze (which saves me so much time!) and they also have really great customer service. My current favourite feature is the 'create' feature, which allows you to make dozens of gorgeous new pins in just a couple of clicks.

The Tailwind service itself is perfect for automating Pinterest.
The only thing that needs improvement is adding an email reminder before renewal.
I stopped using the service, but my credit card was still charged.
Fortunately, customer service was understanding and immediately refunded me, which I really appreciated.
If I ever need Tailwind again, I won't hesitate to sign up again.

Then everyday now when I go into Tailwind I see new pins for me all with captions and titles written for me, I can now focus on creating new quality content not as much time on pinning. Amazing!!!

I've been a user of Tailwind for years and have relied heavily on Tailwind pin features to grow my impressions to over 2m a month. Most recently, with the introduction of Smartpins, it has lightened my workload to create fresh pins for my most important and best-performing content!

Tailwind has always been my secret weapon but now that Smart Pins are a thing (like where they make pins for you) it's a game changer! If you tried Tailwind in the past but haven't used it in awhile -- use it now as you won't regret it.

I signed up for Tailwind’s annual plan a year ago and was shocked to discover that I’d just been charged $599.88 without any prior notice { that is today April 4Th, 2025 }. There was absolutely no indication during signup that the plan would auto-renew, nor did I receive the standard 30-day warning before the money was withdrawn from my account.
I have thoroughly checked my email (including spam and promo folders) and found no reminder or warning of the upcoming renewal—not even a single notification and this is super frustrating and seems like intentional so that they keep charging people who are not even using the software.
When I tried to request a refund, I was met with a frustrating AI chatbot loop that offered no real help. Even after explaining I never received any reminder email, they simply stated refunds aren’t possible. To make matters worse, canceling the subscription is made unnecessarily difficult and the only way to do this is to downgrade { I have never seen this before , you have to choose " down grade, the go with the " free plan " as the way of downgrading }
I have not even gotten an email from them about the charge - if not for my bank sending me the SMS notification i would have not known about the charge
This is beyond disappointing—it’s a total scam. I haven’t even used the platform in over 6 months, yet they had no problem charging me for another full year without any form of communication.
Tailwind has lost my trust. Beware of this platform. I’m sharing this in hopes that others don’t fall into the same trap.
