I have been using Talabat for few years, but recently they started charging monthly fees without my authorization. When asked they came with reasons for which I need to escalate with my bank. Their screens are misguiding you to order via Pro and no option to cancel. I will be stop using their services and will switch to other platforms.

I wish i could rate them less than this rate. This is second order delayed in a week with most worst customer service i even encountered no support u r stuck one order is placed please ease do not use talabat better try other like keeta and deliveroo thise are far better than this

Absolute fraud and a health hazard! Avoid Talabat at all costs. I placed a Safeway order and received a total disaster: downsized 750g Nabil chicken instead of 900g, missing/incorrect Airwaves gum, and a tampered, half-empty pack of Al Kasih liquid jameed!I sent photo proof instantly. Their support refused a simple partial refund or redelivery for the missing items, claiming they needed "Safeway's confirmation." Instead, they tried forcing me to return the entire order the next day just to get my money back.When I demanded to speak to a supervisor, they lied and promised a callback within the hour from a higher department. They never called. Instead, they completely closed my case and locked me out with an automated message claiming I missed the "eligible refund window"! They use a one-way uncallable phone number, delay on purpose, and stall until the timer runs out to steal your money. Total scam app!

Just incompetent, helpless and hopeless. Complete waste of time and money. Don't bother yourselves with theses scammers. You make an order they cancel it after an hour and a half and claim the refund would be added back to your card after 15 days. Complete nonsense.

When you receive rotten vegetables (happens often) they refuse to give refund and pretend they haven’t received your photo no matter how many times you send it and by how many means. I've emailed jpgs and PDFS and sent by Instagram DM. They continue to deny like it's a game. It’s such a clever scam - just say you haven’t received the photo of rotting vegetables and never refund - genius! Bunch of crooks.
Update: someone paid by Talabat seems to reply to all online reviews saying "we're so sorry, please email socials at blah blah.com" but when you email that email no one ever replies. They care about how things look online, not about being fair or looking after customers. UPDATE: The reply from Talabat below is bull. They reply with that on every public platform but then ignore you privately when you email it.

Absolutely the worst food delivery experience I’ve had.

I placed my order at 3:30 PM, and by 4:30 PM the app was still showing another 66 minutes until delivery.

When I first called the driver, he told me motorcycles were not allowed on the highway. If that’s the case, why was my order accepted in the first place?

He said he would contact Talabat, and shortly afterward customer service called me to say, “Your order is on the way, don’t worry.” That turned out to be completely false.

After waiting even longer, I called the driver again, and this time he told me the restaurant had already canceled my order—but nobody from Talabat informed me. Instead, the app continued showing that my order was being delivered, and it was reassigned to another driver who never answered my calls.

Customer service kept repeating the same scripted response: “We’ll check and call you back.” They couldn’t even reach their own driver, and they wouldn’t cancel the order. Meanwhile, my entire lunch break was wasted waiting for food that was never coming.

Poor communication, misleading updates, and a complete lack of customer service. This was a frustrating and unacceptable experience. I won’t be using Talabat again.

My experience with Talabat has been very disappointing. Orders are constantly delayed, and if you change your location during delivery, the driver often refuses to deliver the order even after contacting Talabat support. There seems to be very little coordination between customer support and the drivers. Honestly, there are many other delivery companies that provide much better service, faster delivery, and a smoother overall experience. I hope Talabat improves its service because this has become a recurring issue.

If you missed the delivery they will take package with them and don't give you refund. Money lost, uninstalled talabat forever.

Bad service, this is the first time i heard for electronics item only 24hrs the warranty? If after 24hrs pass they dont have any solution!!!! What kind of policy is that??? Its only morethan 24hrs after i called to complain!!! Then they will tell me if its convinient to you call the shop direct, common of course if inconvenient to me!! Thats why i ordered thru talabat because i want to encounter any hassle.

Too many occurrences of missed or late orders

The driver canceld my order bc he didn’t knw where he was going and I was calling and texting him but he wouldn’t even listen he just canceled it never ordering from talabat again

I got 4 PCs full wrong order and they don't care

My order never arrived but all they could do was compensate me with the basic late fee. Wnen I said this was unacceptable they said they can't (or I guess won't) do anything about it.

I received rotten chicken that is unfit for consumption. This is a food safety issue. Your representative refused a refund and even advised me not to order from Talabat in the future

"Does Talabat have no shame? They refuse to provide proper customer service across all their delivery platforms. If there is an issue with your order, you should have the right to speak to an actual person—not a computer, not a bot, and not an AI.

I ordered a specific type of food and received something completely different. And let’s be clear: this wasn’t a complimentary service—I paid for it. The service they provide is disgraceful.

It’s a shame that I don’t even know where to file a formal complaint as a consumer. Perhaps in Dubai, consumer protection doesn’t apply to a 50-dirham order—but that’s not the point. The point is not the money. The point is the complete lack of service, the absence of any real solution, and the insult of receiving nothing but recycled, copy-pasted replies from a machine.

The service is terrible. Their Google Reviews average is one star—and they still operate with this level of customer (dis)service. I’ve made up my mind: I’m done with Talabat. They are absolutely disgusting. Finger down to talabat

The service was extremely poor. The sushi arrived warm, with no ice packs included, and was delivered completely hot — which is unacceptable in Qatar’s high temperatures.

My order was 43 dirhams Snd when I reorder it was 58 why is that I do not know

Very very bad service better go with other online platform not with talabat
