The evening was both delightful and enlightening. The atmosphere was lovely, and the selection of gins was superb. I would certainly visit once more. It's a fantastic gift opportunity.

Oktoberfest
The event promotion/advertising was misleading.
There was no band as implied/expected, just some music being played in the background on a CD.
The ticket which included a 'food voucher' transpired to be £3 off the limited food available - The only food you could get for 'free' with the food voucher was a pretzel.
Staff reluctant to serve any drinks from the bar other than 'steins', they said they were too busy serving steins to prepare any other drinks, They were not too busy, it is a very small venue.
All in all a very disappointing evening - certainly not what was expected.
Our group had planned to have a really good night out at Tappers.
We left early to go to a local pub - which was much better.
We shall never go to this venue again for an evening out.

You must have us confused with another group that were also not happy.
Trustpilot only just invited a review - hence 2 weeks on.

First and foremost, we're genuinely and truly sorry that you didn't enjoy yourself. The aggressive tone of your review comes as a surprise, as are the inaccuracies and mistruths it contains - we're truly shocked that we seem to have caused you such grave offence. It does call in to question your motives.
At no stage anywhere - either on our website, social media posts, booking form, booking confirmation email, or follow-up email with tickets and directions, did we ever advertise a live band. We advertised "Bavarian beats" and "traditional oompah music" which were played on a professional sound system. We remain confused as to why you mistakenly believed a band would be present, or why this would warrant such scathing remarks on TrustPilot - particularly if, as you claim, you didn't raise any of these issues with us at the time.
All of the event information on all platforms noted that the entry ticket, which was £10 for admission to our unique and prestigious venue, included a food voucher. Nowhere did it state that this voucher could be redeemed for a free meal. It was described as a voucher or token. We're puzzled as to how anyone would conclude it would be a free meal. Typical prices for bratwurst and currywurst food items at alternate Oktoberfest celebrations in the area ranged from £10-£14. We charged £6 each and provided the £3 token, so effectively offered these items at half price. Giant pretzels at £3 could alternatively be chosen for free.
On arrival, we welcomed every guest and provided them with a menu, directed people to available seats, and advised that we provide table service. This is true of all of our events and it was explained to you when you arrived. Customers do occasionally pop to the bar and chat, or order a drink, but they will be advised that they will either need to wait their turn or they will be asked to take their seat for someone to come and assist with taking an order. This is for the comfort of our guests - people are always welcome to wait patiently if they wish to stand at the bar until it's their turn to be served, but we don't allow customers to jump the queue.
There were four bar staff on shift during this event and the choice of drinks available included G&Ts and wines as well as Oktoberfest beers - which were available in pints as well as steins. All of the drinks that were available were listed in the menu that you were handed on arrival, so your suggestion that only steins of beer were available is incorrect. At no point did anyone, yourself included, complain to us about wait times.
This was clearly not the event for you and we are clearly not the sort of venue for you. We would recommend that you read event information and booking terms/details more thoroughly in future.
We're always open to honest and fair feedback from our guests and will action improvements when necessary. Unfortunately, your recollection of the experience and the expectations you brought with you do not align with what was clearly advertised or delivered. We're therefore unable to assist any further in what sadly seems to be a malicious attempt to malign our business - and it's stellar reputation - for whatever underlying reason you may have.

We bought this Gin to try as our surname is also Tapper! I bought the Dark Coastal Gin and really enjoyed the string botanical taste…. I’m not a lover of flavoured gin but really like this one. Highly recommend it
