Scammers don't go with this company they turned up and charged me 564 to fix a toilet. I complained but they refused to acknowledge it the price is extortionate and they add a 20 percent rate charge upon charge all the negative reviews are true. This company is a scam avoid!!!!

Ok but expensive.

Had a leak under my sink which they did repair, but for a £12 part and ten minutes to repair it was charged £500.94 . Some of which was £37 for admin fee. I know it was a Sunday but I think that was to much
They also wouldn't leave until i paid in full. Steer clear of this company

I can’t believe I got scammed. I am usually so careful, but the cistern leaked and and there is water everywhere and I panicked. They arrived and then sent through a quote for the work that was way above odds, when I challenged it they threatened just to leave and charge the call out . I stupidly agreed. It was a simple washer replacement, but they replaced other parts and took 2 hours and then tried to charge me over £700. I said no, the original quote said fixed not hourly rate. They agreed and stood over me until I paid. I have never had an experience like this and please, please do not use them under any of the varied names they use - Speedyplumb, plumber on call or Tezgo

1star because wouldn’t allow a zero. Needed emergency plumber, they came at time they said BUT, extortionate cost £970+ for leak under sink. When they left came back and changed something as had been leaking AGAIN, it’s now still leaking and refused to come back. DO NOT use under any circumstances!!

Had washing machine problems
Engineer turned up on time , very polite and efficient
However , although I knew what to expect with cost when the engineer arrived, if it hadn't have been an " emergency" , I would never have used them !
For a minimal amount of work ( and I do mean minimal) the cost was extortionate!

Job was done , but feel a little fleeced !

We got scammed. Plumber came, fixed one pipe but destroyed another and we only realized when it was too late. They said they would handle the issue but never replied back. Absolute scammers.

Called Tesgo Plumbing to sort a washing machine that wasn't draining.
Charged £300 for the call out, hourly rate, admin fee and VAT.
Plumber left and we ran the washing machine and it is still not draining!!!
Called the company who are not interested at all in helping now they have been paid.
Absolute joke of a company and I will now raise a dispute with my credit card company as they did not fix the problem as listed on my agreement with the company.
Avoid at all costs.

Not sure of exact date but please don’t use, we had a blockage in our drain, they came out and asked me for tools????? He did fix the blockage initially which took less than 10 mins but charged so much and refused to leave my house until I paid them. The worker literally stood over me in my own home until I got in contact with the office and transferred the money, he said he couldn’t leave until I paid, I felt really intimidated and uncomfortable. I rang my husband and asked him to transfer the money to me ASAP because is was coming from another account, I felt so nervous, I have never experienced this with a company before, I have always received an invoice and paid. Still had problems with the blockage a couple of weeks later so spent £355 (for 10 mins work) for nothing but called another company and problem was solved immediately, no problems since. Be very careful of this company, very unprofessional, was actually quite worried about posting this review as they know where I live but felt like I had to as didn’t want someone else to experience this. The woman I dealt with in the phone was rude and abrupt. Avoid at all costs!!!!! Absolute cowboys!!!!!! Please be warned

Plumber came when they said within 2 hours. He did a fantastic job which turned out to be incredibly difficult.
I thought at the start the amount he charged was expensive but then isn’t everything expensive today.

Our experience with Tezgo plumbing was very disappointing. They advise a call out charge of £70 pounds. The plumber came advised a part should be replaced it took him 5 minutes. After that we received invoices for extra £120 for an investigation charge. Total of £180 for someone to come and tell me I need to replace a part.
Please avoid this company!!!!

This company outsources the work to unqualified or at best very inexperienced trades people. I had a blocked kitchen sink and after spending 2 hours looking busy he left telling me it was fixed. I then used the sink and it immediately blocked and didn't drain for 6 hours - he had made the problem worse.
He replaced a vented cap on a pipe with a sealed one - which I was told (by a new plumber) shoudl not be done as it prevents the release of air/gas and causes air pockets preventing the water from draining potentially.
The plumber then returned the next (after I had made about 6 phone calls to request this. Again he faffed about for a long time and used the vinegar and baking soda in my cupboards to fix the problem - he said it was still a bit blocked but if I carried on with the vinegar and baking soda then it shoudl clear and if not he would come back a do a 'One shot' - apparently this ruins the joins on your pipes (I have now been told).
I then got a call from another plumber who said he had been given my number and I needed to have the pipes jet washed and that would cost another £200 (I had already spent £320).

At this point I called another company. I am trying to get a refund but they are not co-operating.
AVOID at all costs - they do not know what they are doing.

Appaling service.Don't touch them with a barge pole.
Fortunately we recovered our outlay from our credit card providers

We were charged for 2 hours of NO work. Plummer came and couldn't find our man hole (we've never needed it before). Then faffed about with a hoover for about 2 hours trying to suck up the blockage and said 'we need a jetwash'. Plumber didn't have the correct tools with him either and we don't think he actually knew what he was doing. He seemed to take his time to get more money from us as well.

The miscommunication between the office and plumbers is awful and customer service were incredibly rude when we rang to complain.

Same experience as previous contributor. Contacted Metroflow and Tezgo contractor turned up. Took a lot of dirty water out of the system and said it was then OK. It wasnt , still backflowing all the water from washing machine onto the floor when I tried it again. Refused to come back and suggested I try to fix it myself with silicone!. Total waste of £300

I never write reviews, but this company is a scam. Please beware.

I had a simple issue: my sink was clogged. I called a company called Metroflow (shell company), who without our consent re-route the job out to Tezgo. A plumber arrived and couldn't explain how payment worked.

When we left, the bill was £590. This was to unclog a sink — this same sink which takes other plumbers 10 minutes to unclog.

I called Tezgo next day to get a quote — they said they could do it for a flat £150. I asked why I had been charged £590, and they couldn't explain it.

This whole company is a scam - please don't use this.

Inexperience , technicians are hesitating and after payment ,my boiler worked properly for two week after their technician and come back where it was. My advice is whoever think about Tezgo think twice ,believe me it feels like you got throw your money into a bin

Having a boiler breakdown on Good Friday we called for an emergency plumber. We knew the fault was a fan (google the fault code). They told us £39 call out fee and we gave them card details for this. They attended and told us it would take 2 hours plus a new fan for c£600 and done that day. We agreed and he appeared to proceed. He then announced it was all fixed but when we checked, he had turned the boiler off! Very weird thing to do.. it wa turned on and immediately displayed the same error code. He then said he would return next week to replace the fan or that we needed to buy the fan. This is not what was agreed (by email so all black and white). He then proceeded to refuse to leave until her was paid resulting in the police attending! Their office then charged my card for the work not complete (and pretended to be complete) as they had taken the card details down. The matter had been lodged with the police. Imagine if you were a single lady and this happens in your house!!!

Interesting to see that I still haven’t had any contact back !! Reading all your previous reviews it’s obvious that the ones that commend your company are obviously made up names ( all ficticuos foreign ones ). yet the true and factual ones with the bad work and rip off prices are real reviews.
Do not touch this company as they are cowboys !
