This is a fantastic way to learn Thai. It’s good fun, entertaining and varied. Videos workbook and homework. This makes it engaging and because there is a new lesson each day it makes it intense but you progress quickly. Highly recommended!

Love this class! Kru Fah makes learning a tough language fun! I have learned so much in such a short time I have surprised myself. I plan now to complete the entire 100 day challenge!

I’m currently living in Thailand and studying Thai through multiple methods, including the TLC, audio listening, flashcards, Thai script reading and speaking with locals as often as possible. The TLC is definitely a challenge! Some days, progress feels slower than I’d like, but the daily flashcard practice builds vocabulary, while the classroom focuses on practical phrasing. As a result, I often realize I remember more than I think. The daily homework and feedback are incredibly helpful in keeping me motivated, up to date and on track.

Kru Fah is an outstanding, skilled, and enthusiastic teacher with a wonderful sense of humor and an engaging teaching style. The virtual classroom setup works seamlessly—it truly feels like being part of a real classroom, no matter where you are in the world.

I know learning Thai is a long-term process, but for me, TLC has been the best investment to accelerate my progress and build a solid foundation. I compared the TLC with other courses, and I highly recommend it if you’re serious about learning Thai and ready for the challenge!

I’m an individual who learns best by seeing saying and doing and I found that this course is right up my alley. The engagement with the instructor kru Fah and the other classmates makes it a true learning hands-on experience. The interaction with her one on one instructor and follow up on the daily homework assignments is key. I personally can highly recommend this course as a great way to learn to speak Thai.

I did the first 10 lessons and they were great. Having to submit the homework is a great way to practice what you learn and get helpful feedback. This year I hope to review what I learned and then take the next 10 lessons. That’s one of the great things about this course, you don’t have to sign up for the 100 lessons, you can take the learning at your own pace.

This course is amazing! I have taken other language classes before, but this one, thought by Kru Fah, is by far the best one I have taken. The online classroom environment is fun and engaging. There is so much support, from the “Quizlet training program” to your own individual training support teacher, to aid you in learning the language. I enjoyed each and every lesson and I am ready to head to Thailand and try out my new language skills. I would give this 10 stars if I could.

I've just completed the first 20 lessons of the Thai Language Challenge and it was the most enjoyable way of learning thai that I've tried so far and can't wait to put my new skills into practice this coming Christmas holidays. Thank you teacher Fah

I’m 20 lessons done and really enjoying the class. Strenuous and great for daily discipline of working on it! Like most things of value it takes consistent effort and dedication to learn a language. I bought the first 10 lessons , not sure if I would continue. But I was learning so much and enjoying it I was happy to purchase the remaining. It’s a great value.
Kru Fah makes it fun and I laugh at a lot of the videos. I love learning from the other students and being “included” in the classroom. I wish there was occasional zoom, WhatsApp phone call, or other “real time” feedback. My only way to check my pronunciation is via google translate which is awful 😣 However we do get daily feedback on voice message homework submitted. Questions are answered promptly and feedback is specific and encouraging. Excited to continue the remaining 80 classes in the 85 days before our trip to the beautiful country of Thailand! 🇹🇭

Kru Fah makes the course very easy and fun to understand for SPEAKING first vs. learning to read and in depth grammar. Personally I find that really helpful because it gets you to a place where you can start using some basic Thai quickly and feel rewarded vs. a long delayed gratification of some other more scholastic style courses I've taken for other languages in the past. Kru Fah is super helpful and always willing to answer questions on WhatsApp. I am a pretty busy person working long hours, I have found it somewhat difficult to stay current on the 1 hour per week day of lessons but I've been able to move at my own pace and I still get the attention and support wherever I am which I've really appreciated. It's probably not the cheapest course out there but it's pretty well thought out and by day 10 I was incredibly surprised at how much I knew. I've personally found it to be a pretty good value, is flexible enough to work with my busy schedule and have already recommended it to some friends looking to learn to better communicate in Thai.

This is the best online Thai course out there! Fah is an amazing teacher who uses humor and skill to teach the Thai language. It is a fun and very effective way to learn!

I'm pass halfway the 100 lessons, the course has a brilliant format, you actually feel like part of the class and get to build a bond with the classmates, you share their struggles (as Tai is a hard language) and their wins as the group gets more mature and knowledgeable (including you if you study and practice :) ). Kruu Fah is an engaging and knowledgeable teacher and I'm glad I chose her. There are improvement areas for example in the second part of the course which becomes more conversational, as words become past lessons content they might or might not be repeated in English, and spoiler alert, students do have accents. Kruu Fah with all her experience can understand them but sometimes for me is hard, so have to replay that section of the video until I understand or give up, which in the second case is not a big deal since I just whatsapp Kruu Fah and she replies within 48 hours always. This can be solved by adding subtitles. By the way this is how real life works, I'm now in Thailand and n o o n e will speak as clearly and loud as Kruu Fah, so you must get your ear used to it yes or yes if you want to become good at the language. Still, I think that in a controller space like this virtual classroom, there should not be room for ambiguity as students take the lessons. Also, the class whatsapp group (not your 1:1 with Kruu Fah) is pretty much unused, since you are mixed with people that is taking different lengths of the course, at the end of the day you don't share much in common with them, I think is a wasted space that if thought properly can get useful like with scheduled group practice sessions for same level students, etc. I'm sure the TLC team is addressing both things for future instances of the course. About the value I think is a bargain, you get prime quality lifetime (replay able content) Thai lessons for less than 5$ an hour, that's a steal. I'm in Hua Hin Tailand now and what I have seen is that the price is as low as 300B per hour which at today's exchange rate is 9$ per hour. Mat speaks by itself. If you want to learn the language, I suggest you book this course, arm yourself with a notebook and the Thai-English dictionary from "Paiboon Publishing" and start this fun journey! From 0, now I can speak tai for pretty much anything: changing money, give directions, buy stuff, date, book things, etc. I do study and practice though :), you won't learn by magic, but Kruu Fah gives you the tools to succeed. I would buy this course again with my eyes closed. Good luck!

Learning with Kru Fah at the TLC is so much fun!! The quality of her teachings, the online portal plus all the watsapp quidance you get during the course is amazing!! Fah has a great energy and sparkling personality and learning Thai becomes so much fun in this way! If you are thinking of joining, don't doubt this course is really worth it, as it has an excellent quality and the price is very affordable.

The class is fantastic!! Kruu Fah is an amazing teacher- she is very funny, teaches you relevant information to improve real life language skills and she answers your questions quickly. The class can be intense as the lessons are daily but you will become very confident in your language skills. The recordings are great because you can replay or pause if you need more time to process any of the lessons. Great value! Very happy and grateful that I found this course.

I am currently on Lesson 83 (out of 100), and I absolutely love this course. Initially, I signed up for Survival Thai, which includes the first 20 lessons, with the idea of learning a bit of Thai for my upcoming trip to Thailand. After completing those lessons, I decided to continue—and I’m glad I did.

Successfully participating in and completing a language course has always depended on the format and instructor for me. I’ve taken many courses in the past, but at some point, I tend to lose interest for various reasons. However, the Thai Language Challenge has been an exception. In this course, new material is introduced through themed lessons. There’s a great deal of repetition in how to use new vocabulary, with plenty of examples provided by our instructor, Kruu Fah, and the students. The homework assignments are also very helpful. We communicate with the instructor through WhatsApp, and the feedback I’ve received has been invaluable. Kruu Fah is patient, understanding, and entertaining, which makes the learning process even more enjoyable.

If you’re hesitant about committing to 100 lessons, start with the first 20, as I did. You can decide afterward whether to continue. For me, this is one of the best language courses I’ve ever taken.

I started with 20 lessons but ended up doing the full 100-day challenge! I like the hybrid format of online videos with live feedback after submitting your homework. This class can fit your schedule, and the way it’s set up makes learning Thai so much easier.

Every lesson teaches something useful for getting by in Thailand. You don’t just learn random words—you get practical sentences you can actually use. The videos really make it feel like you’re in the classroom; all the students bring their own vibes and unique experience. Kruu Fah is an excellent (and fun) teacher.

Learning a new language is tough, so you need to put in real effort, but this course makes it totally worth it. I can now interact with the locals and enjoy Thailand even more.

16 lessons in and so far so good…I am definitely learning faster due to the discipline of doing daily classes. Khun Douglas is my hero!!…mainly because he struggles like I do🤣 I hope there are classes later in the program where we escape the classroom and go to markets, attractions, etc to get a feel for Thai language in the real world. The deliberate Thai immersion during each class is helpful for phrase rentention but tricky if you’ve missed a few words along the way…thank goodness for pause and rewind buttons. The written language program for each lesson is well designed with lots of pictures and helpful sentence builders…appreciate the effort that went into designing this…other than that, I’ll sign off by saying I have only 83% of the course to go…money well spent so far😁

Fun course! She makes a hard language fun to learn and with some humor. There is no direct translation between English and Thai so having a course like this helps alot. Her willingness to answer my random questions also demonstrates her dedication! Sometimes, I wish she would cover more technical or pragmatic topics but all around it's good!

Thai Language challenge is well run and the lessons are planned properly to build up on your Thai vocabulary.

This is a great course, the virtual classroom feels as though you are in the classroom.
The format is well laid out, even though the course can be challenging at times. You are taught not just Thai words but sentence structures you will use in different situations traveling or living in Thailand.
Kruu Fah's teaching style is makes learning quite easy, even when some lessons are challenging, they are carried out in a fun way.
I would highly recommend this course if you really want to learn Thai.
