Don't even waste your time using this service. If I could leave zero stars I would.
I booked a service, got the relevant confirmations, only to find out on the day that I wasn't actually booked in, but I had to ring to find out this information. The customer service is shocking, when trying to resolve this matter. I get things happen as I am in the service industry, but the whole thing is a shambles

Convenient car pick up and drop off

It is very convenient to have a service done at home. There is less hassle and the price is good.

I booked an MOT and Service, only to find out, after ringing around on the day, that there was no MOT included. I’d also purchased the option for the garage to come and take the car, but AA said this was not possible on the day as it was too far. Why was it even an option in the first place? And why did no one notify me. There was at the very least a lovely customer service rep on the end of the line who understood my anger. Would not recommend this system.

Whole process was easy and hassle free, booked it quickly with with a very helpful garage.

Engineer very good deluge off email that don’t add to experience disappointment

I was charged £269 for the full service, plus £39 for the MOT, making a total payment of £308. I felt that I had been overcharged because, when I checked the AA website, I noticed that the advertised price for a full service is £187. I did not notice that the price was stated as “from £187”, which means that £187 is the starting price and that the actual price may be higher depending on the vehicle and the work required.
I also feel that the response from customer service to my complaint could have been handled better.

Great communication plus an efficient service.

Transparent Service and MOT options at a good price. Easy to identify what you you will be getting. Easy to book. plenty of communication and reminders for the bookings. The chosen AA Smart Garage [Eco Tyres & Autocare, Southampton] was easy to deal with on the day from drop off to collection. I will use this service again next year.

The MOT was carried out efficiently. The centre manager was very helpful and informative. Would definitely use that garage again.

Having a mobile mechanic visit my home to conduct a full service on my car. It has been the best thing I have done for a while. It has allowed me to carry on with jobs in my home while the service was carried out.
I did not have to wait for a garage to phone me to say when my car was ready or worry about transport to the garage to get there before they closed.
