I got my card in November 2025. To begin with it worked as expected, and the customer service team were good, they cared about their start up.

Fast forward to Christmas and then over the new year of 2026, they were experiencing issues and I haven’t been able to use the app or card since. They provided updates in the app of “migrations” and technical problems up until mid February, then nothing. All emails and messages were ignored. Even asking for the refund explained in the Terms and Conditions was ignored.

I’ve now logged a debit/credit chargeback with my bank for the start up amount. I would advise anyone else who paid this company to do the same.

Great for savings as everyone else has said, just want to add a shout out to customer services which are fast and friendly.

I can understand why people are a bit cautious with this as it seems like a scam but it’s not I signed up and had to go on their waitlist but as soon as a spot opened up I paid the fee and then verified the details they needed

It said I should receive my card by the beginning of December but it actually arrived a couple of days later

First fill up at Tescos was not sure it was going to work as advertised but it did the card they send you is used to pay and then they charge the member price to your registered payment card

I know they’re working on making the cards digital wallet compatible which will be good when that happens

Yes if your local diesel price is always cheap you’re not going to save but for me the diesel club is always around 7p cheaper than Tesco and as we occasionally use motorways I now no longer have to ensure I’ve filled up locally I can get cheaper fuel anywhere within their network so that’s a massive bonus

Off to fill up with some 151.9p BP diesel now and will be paying 138p for it

Well I was bit apprehensive about signing up to this but find it’s brilliant. Saving me agro trying to squeeze into small sites. Fill on nice big forcourts, no queues, no nozzles out of service. Most of all Diesel Club are saving me money. Hats off to you, and keep up the good work.

Such a great idea being able to fill up almost anywhere and pay a flat rate, which is often cheaper than even supermarkets. It works so well and no faffing about either, just pay like with a credit card. I needed fuel on the motorway the other day and paid 138p rather than the 170p pump price.

I believe I was a very early subscriber to this new UK start-up and as such, I can’t deny there were a few little bumps along the way toward establishing an account and receiving a card. However, the personal responses from co-founder Bill, often out of work hours, to help smooth over the bumps was nothing short of amazing. Significant changes to the customer service tools and App have been ongoing and lurching the whole experience in the right direction. I now have my card and the discounts are not only real, they really change your habits. Now I can fill up at those empty forecourts on the motorways and pay a totally reasonable price for the fuel, knowing I am well regarded and cared for as a subscriber.

Why wouldn't you join? It levels the field for consumers and is so convenient - no more wasting time looking for the cheapest local diesel.

Diesel club is fantastic. You can go to almost any 'petrol' station and get discounted diesel - whether at most motorway services, or even supermarket ones or any others on your journey. The app tells you this week's members price includes a map of nearest participants in the scheme, and there always seem to be loads around where I am, in Yorkshire, and you pay the club's price - even though the garage receipt says you paid the price that's publicly posted. When it comes out your bank - it's less. You can see alll the records of what you really pay, in the app and match those to the transactions in your bank account.
There's a calculator on their site to tell you how much you'll save. The savings will soon exceed the one-off cost of buying a card. If you fill up every week or two, you'll make it back within a month and then it's savings all the way. Somone spending £100 per week on diesel should save around £680 a year depending on where you fill up.
The beauty of the card is that it doesn't matter where you fill up - you pay the same everywhere, so get it where it's convenient, not just where it's cheaper.
Once you apply, you have to link a bank account and when you receive your card validate it in the app, and then you're off. It works contactlessly up to the usual limits and there's a PIN in the app if you're over the contactless limit.

Once you've tried it you can use it to refer friends and get a credit in your own account - essentially free fuel!

I was sceptical at first when I found out about TDC, given the little information online aside from their own website. It all seemed too good to be true, surely?!

But no, it’s legit, I took the plunge, paid my £30, and despite having to wait a little longer for my card due to my postcode being entered wrong, it soon arrived by Royal Mail expedited delivery, and I tried the card the same day, and it works!

TDC kindly credited me £30 for the postcode error towards my next fill up.

Any time I’ve emailed I’ve had a quick and personal response from Bill/Ed, usually within 24 hours and even late in the evenings sometimes.

I’m genuinely so pleasantly surprised how well it works. It’s absolutely worth it!

Of course with all new companies, they had teething troubles. However, this was due to the mass influx of new users that they hadn’t expected! All issues were resolved!

If you were an early adopter like myself, you may of had issues receiving your card and getting email replies. I found out this was due to them switching over to zendesk and their original card supplier being overwhelmed but since that had been sorted, everything had improved communication and delivery wise.

I contacted them via whatsapp some time after the email and they resolved everything and had the card shipped out and in my hands within the week.

My experience using the card itself has been amazing, completely painless!

Nearly every local petrol station is covered. I check the map in the app, fill up, go in, tap the card to pay and away i go.

Over the 8 times i’ve used the card so far, i have saved £38.34 (your savings will vary depending on how expensive your local station is, mine is usually 148.9)

I couldn’t praise Bill, Zoltan and the rest of the team enough, always great to communicate with, helpful and friendly.

I now solely use my fuel card from TDC and will be inviting friends and family members with my referral shortly.

Card arrived and it was very easy to set up. Two fill ups so far and I’ve saved £10. Loads of choice for stations. I live in the countryside with limited options for cheaper diesel. Im saving approx 9p a litre. I expect to have made my money back on the initial cost (£30) by the end of the month. Great club to be part of if you can get in!

A brilliant product that's simple and convenient. Saves a good amount of money on fuel. In the current time every bit helps. I have got my card recently and already saved almost £20 on 2 full tank of fuel.

Got charged £85.22 for a £90.72 bill and £83.96 for a £88.35 bill.

Saving around 10 to 12p per litre every refuel :)

Found the diesel club via an advertisement and decided to join based on suggested savings of approximately £170 annually on my diesel fuel bill. Signed up and was informed my card should arrive in 2-3 weeks. A little later than planned my card arrived and I filled up at my local Jet garage. Unfortunately the card was declined at this point. A quick email to their support and an almost instant response that they would look into this. Within a couple of hours Bill came back to let me know the issue was resolved and they had credited my previous fuel bill without even asking or expecting! A quick trip to the same garage a bit later on, my card worked perfectly! Paid £21 at the Jet and was billed just over £19 on TDC price.
Overall very happy and now save money on every full up. Also now able to use Shell, Jet, Esso etc for less than supermarket diesel.

Re-writing my review after getting my card. Great customer service experience. I have been waiting a little over a month for my card to arrive but I have to say it’s been worth the wait. Ive already saved a fortune on Diesel and I now fill up at my local Shell. What a great idea. This is something I have been looking at for a long time but due to not been a registered business I was unable to take advantage of the cheaper fuel card prices. As far as I know this is the only fuel card available to Joe public.
