Dont be afraid to ask for help
I contacted HMRC today for advice but as I predicted they were absolutely rude and no help at all. As a small business owner, we have so many issues to face with not much help but lot of judgments from people.
Luckily, I came across with the Directors Helpline website and spoke to one of their amazing consultants today. Claire has been an absolute star and a true professional. she listened to my concerns and advised me accordingly. I can’t recommend her and the team enough!
Sometimes all we need is reassurance that you are doing your ever best, sometimes a little bit more - but it’s great to know that we are not alone and there are still genuine, helpful people around you. If you have any questions/ concerns - please contact the team.

Very supportive
I was looking for some guidance and information regarding my business and i gave them a call. Claire is a highly professional lady, very supportive and helped me to validate the options i already had in my mind anyway.

Bit disappointed to be honest
Bit disappointed to be honest. I'm a director needing help with my business but as soon as they realised I am not up to my eyeballs in debt they said they couldn't help and didn't answer any questions.
