I never expected to be a person interested in the stock market! Freedom Trader provides the most fantastic resources with spreadsheets, courses, advice and information on every aspect of buying and selling shares. I’d been considering stock market investments for many years and even invested some dollars but never got going as I just didn’t trust what was being promoted. I recently did a tree change to a rural town based around beef farming and tourism and came across Terry. I attended a group session and Terry came across as authentic and knowledgeable. I then had a solid conversation with Terry and this sealed the deal. I’m so impressed with the robust no nonsense approach. The distillation of a lifetime of knowledge and hard won experience is clear. Terry has a great team as well with head trainer Tricia - who is a very good communicator and understands the method inside out. Recommend 100%.

More Than Just a Course – A Team That Truly Cares
It’s now 2025, and after almost nine years with The Freedom Trader, my respect for Terry and his team has only grown.
When I first came across The Freedom Trader I was hesitant. That changed completely after meeting Terry in person. Unlike many so‑called stock investing or trading experts, he’s genuinely humble, relatable, and down‑to‑earth.
From the very first live seminar I attended, I could see the difference. He openly shares his losses / mistakes and what he’s learned from them – not just the wins – and makes sure his students understand the “why” behind everything.
I joined the Blueprint program back in 2016. At first, I struggled with the technical language, but Terry took the time to explain concepts patiently until I felt confident. Since then, my understanding of the market has grown enormously – and so have my own results.
In 2019, I joined his team. And I know what you might be thinking: “Of course you’d leave a glowing review if you work there.”
Here’s the thing – I’ve never stayed in a job for more than two years in my life because I’ve never felt aligned with the culture or values. In some places I’ve worked (and I've worked at plenty), the company presented itself publicly as caring and supportive, but behind the scenes it was a very different story for the staff.
At The Freedom Trader, it’s the opposite. The same level of care Terry shows his students is the care he shows his team. That’s why I’ve been here for almost six years – the longest I’ve ever stayed anywhere – and I can genuinely see myself staying indefinitely.
Over the last 12 months especially, I’ve really seen that Terry’s focus on students isn’t just talk – it’s in how he runs the team and responds to issues. The major work of refining the Blueprint course, simplifying lessons, and adding visuals and animations happened back in 2020 during the lockdowns, but since then we’ve continued to build on those foundations with smaller updates and extra resources to make the learning journey even smoother.
I’ve seen plenty of coaches scale up and leave students to fend for themselves. Terry and his team are the opposite – genuinely invested in every student’s success. He never pushes a “my way or no way” attitude; instead, he shares his reasoning and lets you decide how to apply it.
No ego, no arrogance – just a genuine commitment to helping people succeed.
If TrustPilot allowed more than five stars, I’d give them. Easily.
