Great customer service
Great customer service. My parcel was damaged while in transit (think something heavy was dropped on it) i took a photo and emailed customer services, they replied almost immediately and despatched a replacement. Products are great and I am now registered to receive a regular supply.

Second purchase
Second purchase, bought something for someone else too. Ordering and delivery couldn’t be simpler. Had an enquiry about getting a refill instead of a whole new bottle, the person was happy to assist. This would be a good option to add to the website.

Nice packaging and product but caused sleep issues
Nice packaging and product, however I’ve been taking it before bed and have started to have insomnia. Had a quick literature search and see this can be a rare side effect with reishi
Update: I’ve spoken with the company who have been incredibly helpful and gave me advice on trying to make it work for me & refunded my order.

Resposta da The Functional Mushroom Company
Hi Charlie,
Thank you for your balanced review and update. You're right that Reishi can occasionally cause paradoxical reactions in some individuals - everyone's neurochemistry is unique.
We appreciate you highlighting both your experience and our resolution. This kind of feedback helps other customers make informed decisions about what might work for their particular physiology.
Thanks for giving our products a try.

The best Lion's mane and Cordyceps product out there from a trustworthy company. The decaf coffee is also delicious.

Resposta da The Functional Mushroom Company
Hi Joe,
Thanks for your review. We're particularly pleased you've tried both our Animate supplement and decaf coffee - the Colombian beans in our Ignition Blend complement the Cordyceps remarkably well.
Trust is central to what we do - from sourcing to extraction methods to taste testing.

Resposta da The Functional Mushroom Company
Hi Roger,
Thanks for your feedback. Turkey Tail is one of the most research-backed mushrooms we offer - with over 40 clinical trials behind it.
We put the same care into our mycelium packaging and delivery logistics as we do our extraction methods ;)

Resposta da The Functional Mushroom Company
Hi Mrs Debs,
Better late than never with our reply (unlike our Reishi, which clearly delivers on time)!
That consistent 5-month experience is exactly what the research shows - the triterpenoids in Reishi help modulate GABA receptors, supporting deeper sleep architecture. Your evening routine is spot on.
Thanks for sharing your experience.

Great product
Great product, great service and good communication from them. I would happily recommend.
I love the refillable glass bottles as well. They look very apothecarial :-)

Excellent quality and potent blends
This is the highest quality mushroom company I have tried. The blends are excellent, potent and clean. I’ve been using them for a few months and I have felt a significant improvement on mood, energy and focus. I have also tried the decaf coffee and not only does it taste like real coffee freshly ground but the added mushrooms provide energy that lasts longer than regular coffee.
