We bought Green Wheat Hay for our lionhead bunny. The appetite and huge joy with which he munches it made me feel kind of guilty that I had fed him much lower quality hay up to this point! The hay looks so beautiful in colour and shape - no doubt, prime quality!

my 3 rabbits love the timothy hay, its now a absolute stable in our house now, and they eat like no tomorrow, and such affordable prices for what you get, unfortunately due to the weather i have recently been reciving some sun bleached hay unfortunately and i do feel terrible for messaging as i know how awful the heat has been recently, but all together a perfect place to buy hay

I found The Hay Shed as I was looking for hay that my son with severe hayfever would not react to. We found that oat hay is perfect and my rabbits love it too.
The subscription takes the brain power out of it too. The rabbits are VERY happy, my reduced mental load is happy and my allergy son isn’t unwell!!! Wins all round

I have tried so many hay suppliers over the years from farms to pet shops. Had some good, fair quality and some terrible hay, black and mouldy inside the bags from pet shops. Hit and miss. Online supplies vary considerably as well, often dull and dusty. So glad to have found you. Fast, reliable delivery, easy ordering and beautiful green hays in boxes, not plastic bags. Thank you from me and bunnies, Mollie and Peanut. I wish previous bunnies over the years had been able to have such gorgeous hay 🙂

My bunnies and guinea pigs absolute favourite hay. The Timothy has the best long stems for them to chew on and they love the rye grass and green wheat!

Have been ordering Hay from The Hay Shed since 2023 with very few issues. Always delivered promptly, well packed and fresh. Always a polite, prompt services. All the small animals (rabbits, guineas and others) enjoy the hay but do have their preferences to variety. (Still) highly recommended

I would only ever buy hay from here for my buns. Tried other companies but they were not up to the same quality standard. Lovely Timothy hay, dry and not at all dusty. Buns also love the oat hay as a treat...will try others too!

I’ve been buying from hay shed for many months now and have always had the best quality hay around, my rabbits are very fussy with their hay and every since switching to the hay shed they have never been happier. Great quality hay for a reasonable price. My rabbits and guinea pigs absolutely love it! Packaging is always excellent and delivery is almost always within a couple days of order. Subscription service discount is good value for people who are ordering often like myself. You get a completely full box of fresh hay with minimal dust. I originally started purchasing from The Hay Shed a while ago after being unsatisfied with the usual mass produced brands, and honestly I'm so glad I did. Thank you The Hay Shed!

The Hay Shed Rye Hay that I received on 08/06/2026 is the best I have ever received from any of dozens of hay suppliers that I have tried over the last 20+ years! However, my review is adjusted down (it should really be 2.5) because the dried Nettle Leaves, which I bought at the same time as a treat for my rabbit, are extremely disappointing. They are not nettle 'leaves' but 98% tiny shards and dust. Aside from doubting the original quality of this product due to the % of damaged material I received, I cannot understand why the Hay Shed pack such a fragile product - dried leaves - in a bag which is easily crushed, rather than in a box which would provide much better protection.

Easy to order. Arrived on time. The hay is fresh and smells lovely. Our rabbits absolutely love it, they are picky with their hay but this is eaten as soon as I start to get it out of the box. The boxes the hay is delivered in are then used as fun hidey houses once empty.
