I had a few ‘handyman’ tasks that I had been putting off completing myself and know it can be difficult trying to find someone reliable locally around Hammersmith and Kensington area. Kio from the Kensington Handyman service was able to complete all the tasks and to a high standard. I was very happy with the service and tasks he completed and have already booked them in for additional work as they are quite flexible in the work that they can complete. I just send a few photos of what I needed doing and they charge by their time rather than per task.

Great handyman service. Kio and Kabee fixed a broken window lock and an extractor fan, and put these overt curtain rails up for me. Super friendly and professional- they even sat with me and helped me hand-tie my curtains. Thank you!

My kitchen cupboard was falling. Kiomars fixed it with precision and efficiency and left the place clean and a job well done.

We had an urgent repair and Kensington Handyman was available same day and came within an hour. The Handyman was very skilled in the job and it took quite a bit of time and care to complete. He did a great job and we will definitely use them again. Very helpful and professional.

What a revelation! From the moment I visited Kensington Handyman’s extensive and easy-to-navigate website, through to the friendly and efficient telephone booking process, the experience was excellent from start to finish.

Unfortunately, due to an unexpected health issue, I was unable to keep my original appointment. This is often the moment when a company’s true colours are revealed, and Kensington Handyman could not have been more accommodating. They showed genuine flexibility, took ownership of the situation, and rearranged everything without fuss.

When the appointment went ahead, the handyman who arrived to repair my fitted wardrobe was superb—professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly highly skilled. The work was completed efficiently and to a very high standard.

What impressed me most was the seamless service throughout. Good companies deliver when things go according to plan; great companies deliver when plans change unexpectedly. Kensington Handyman did exactly that and exceeded my expectations at every stage.

I would not hesitate to recommend them and will certainly use them again. A first-class service and a company that genuinely deserves a five-star rating.

Simple job for an experienced carpenter with a mitre saw to cut some skirting which I would estimate would take a professional between 1h - 1.5h. Job was clearly explained and accepted.

Guy turns up, 1h30m later tells me he's finished. I then have to tell him that he hasn't cut the skirting correctly. 30m later he tells me he can't cut it correctly as he doesn't have a mitre saw, even though that's what he told me he had with him earlier.

Speak to Alistair the next day after being sent the bill of 2h. Told him I wasn't happy and the guy needed to come back and finish the job correctly. Alistair agreed and said he'd message me what time he'd arrive. Later afternoon I had to chase as had not been contacted.

At this point, Alistair tells me that the guy doesn't want to come back to finish the job correctly because the skirting kept breaking when cutting (yeah, because he was using the wrong saw!). This job is just replicating what had been done elsewhere in the property so I know it's perfectly doable. He then tells me that it's not worth his while to send the guy back plus he would've wanted to charge me another £144 to come back even if he did. This is on top of the 2h that he'd already billed. To top it off, I then get a wholly sarcastic comment that I should bodge the mess that had been left with filler. Ugh!

These people have no accountability, turn up with the wrong equipment, bodge the work (smearing caulk over vast amounts of skirting, even though I told the guy three times I didn't want him to do the filling) and then expect the paying customer to bodge it further with filler to cover their incompetence. Absolutely pathetic.

We needed a handyman within a short space of time to hang some pictures etc. The company responded very promptly and sent someone the next morning! Q came and got all the small jobs done swiftly and in a most efficient manner. He was professional and polite. Will use him again x

Excellent service, was able to book same day on a B/H weekend, and our handyman was very good, professional, polite, nothing too much trouble, did a great job, a huge help as we were under pressure to get a flat ready for a new tenancy - would definitely use again and highly recommend!

Excellent from start to finish. Clear communication from Tristan including upfront pricing information. We had an internal door (heavy, Victorian, not been maintained in years) come off its hinges. Kiomas was fantastic and had it fixed within the hour. It had been pulling away from the frame and did not close properly - and now it does, so is better than before! Many thanks. It is great to find such a reliable service.
