What a service this has been!! I was referred to them via a service that couldn’t help me.

Poppy is amazing, she went down every possible avenue to get me a loan secured. Even when lenders needed info I couldn’t give she persevered like a super human. Easy to discuss financial needs with and a fantastic service on the whole.
I am very impressed and would definitely use again should I need to.

I have read the other reviews on this company and I am genuinely not surprised that 75% of all are 1-star rating. They've put me through hell, and I could not warn people enough - be very very very careful of this outfit. They'll fleece you with fees. Stay away. I only came on here to see what experience others had had - and I've had the same.

(Update of 5th May 2026... I have just logged on to Feefo and typed in Central Loans Ltd and Interbay - both returned the message "No Results" ~ typical of this company they run you around in circles - terrible to deal with - I would recommend to proceed with extreme caution and the many hidden and small print costs - the customer care is none existent - it's just how much money can they extract from you.

Worst customer service ever, after signing all the documents and promised to get my funds in 1-2 hours I was disappointed to see that didn’t happen. I called again and was told it’ll be released at midnight which once again didn’t happen. The agent I was dealing with is Felix Jones. He told me when I was signing the documents “ If you don’t receive the funds in one - two hours like it says you can sue us” called him this morning and told him my bank asked what the transfer to this company was for and I said a loan which he replied that I just started a shit storm called me down called me names and got mad at me for following the law then the company blocked my calls. I still haven’t received any money or a call back or any answers. They don’t realize when they break a written contract they can and will be sued if I do not get the funds I was approved for or at LEAST my deposit back. Worst company do not use them

Dreadful customer service by Luke.
I would like to complain about the treatment that I faced when gaining customer service from Luke. He spoke on the phone very condescending and did not even respectfully refer to my own name instead calling me Bob during the call. Everything that was put forward was put forward in a manner as if he was frustrated or annoyed or upset because how he was treated in the past.
When speaking to him about my concerns I mentioned 2 months and instead he rushed my time to 1 month's time to end of January.
I feel he wasn't listening and rushing to the answer and just assumed everything. In addition he came across in a manner that he felt his situation or what should happen is only one way and having problems during a process is too difficult for him to handle and he couldn't accept any other scenario. I believe this shows bad customer service and he needs to learn to be more understanding and patient when speaking with customers on the phone and realise problems happen within day-to-day life and during life and things happen that we cannot foresee and he needs to understand that. Basically I think his service was dreadful and if I contact your company in future, I would prefer to liaise with anyone else but him I think he has got a lot of learning to do in terms of customer service.

Luke apologise the day after for his behaviour on the phone and ever since I've only seen excellent customer service. I remain vigilant, however this appears to be a one off occurrence.

After having deep thought about our unfortunate start to our professional partnership. I feel working on an unstable and unprofessional base does not fit in with the future of my business plans.
I have decided to part ways and wish you all the best for the future.

I apply for a loan on 12th of June have pay the insurance and fee like they asked they don’t answer there phone or respond to emails there customer support said a loan officer will get contact with you never happens you just go in a circle and go no where worst place be careful they rip you off and don’t give you the loan !!!!!!!

They tell you you’ll get a loan so you put all your details in.. then say they can’t… scam

Just the worst. Even if you don't use them the only way to stop them texting you is by sending a premium rate text to stop them. They aren't here to help you just make profits.

Awful awful awful.

They start with decent rates (even with the astronomical fees added) as a way to get early engagement.

Once you've filled in every form, the loan needs to be changed to another provider and suddenly gets more expensive; then they push like crazy to close.

You will get connected to these guys via Money Supermarket.

Some of the products listed here only transact via LoansEngine, sadly - so don't get happy about the low rates, i'm not sure they actually exist..
