I got wonderful information and advice on the various chairs and options, etc. There was no pressure to purchase, and I got a great deal once I was ready to buy.
We had some difficulties with the delivery company but the folks at The Modern Back did what they could to move it along. It should be noted that the chair manufacturer is the entity that has the relationship with the delivery company, so technically there was not much the Modern Back folks could do about it.

The chair is excellent, however I am still trying to understand the difference between the menu items. Using the app iOS, give me Chinese options which is very difficult. Is there an English ‘detailed’ manual and IOS app?

Great product. I am using the massage chair twice a day- one in the morning and one at night. It releases the back pain and relaxes my muscles especially on my legs. I love the intensity 4 when it massages my foot, my back and my neck. Highly recommended for those who are experiencing muscle pain.

After I ordered they sent me an email stating the chair would not ship for another 4 weeks. I expressed my surprise since that timing was not indicated on their website. I ordered from another site that did say it would ship in about 2 weeks, which it did. The Modern Back quickly cancelled my order when I requested.

I got my Maestro LE massage chair a few days ago and love it!!! My salesman Colin was amazing. I was very happy to have purchased the service to have it put together on delivery as I watched them put it together and it would of taken me forever! The chair itself exceeds my expectations! I finally will heal the knots in my back that have been torturing me the last 20 years! I already feel a nice difference. It is also super amazing on the lower back. The stereo speakers are awesome as well. I listen to music on my iphone or an audio book on my ipad while relaxing. The auto shiatsu mode is really nice! You only live once! Gotta take care of your body! Highly recommended!

I have to start by saying I don’t have my chair yet, but- my experience with the customer service at this company has been amazing! For many years I have gone into a retail store when my back was twisty and used their chair to get some relief. This weekend I finally decided to buy one for myself. I went online and found several sites with decent looking products, but it was the assistance from Modern Back that made the difference. They asked what I was looking for, my height and weight and price range, gave me some suggestions, answered questions, all with no sales pressure. When I was ready to buy, they gave me a great deal! I am sure the chair will be wonderful, as it has great reviews too, but for me, the store made the difference and gave me the help I needed.

I had originally ordered a chair but almost 5 weeks in afterwards I was informed it was backordered and that I would end up waiting few more months. Being very disappointed, although I could’ve canceled and receive refund, The Modern Back offered several other massage chairs readily available to deliver with white glove service.
And they were much upgraded ones. I paid very nominal for the upgrade which I was pleasantly surprised they offered. So I ordered one and received it within 1 1/2 weeks!
So happy I went with their offer and what a great upgrade we received.

Great customer service. Went above and beyond without hesitation. Awsome chair! Gets daily use. So many different massage options and levels. So comfortable.

The Kumo has been a game-changer for me. I have suffered from chronic back problems for the past 17 years. A car accident in 2004 left me with 3 herniated discs and 9 bulging discs and my body was best described as being shaped like a lightning bolt. For most of 2005, I could barely walk. It was humbling.

Fast forward through the years, and I have tried pretty much any remedy that claimed to provide relief from the constant pain. Some have worked for me (like zero gravity chairs, chiropractics, yoga, and Thai massage) and others, not so much (like chondroitin, acupuncture, Swedish massage, most back-support braces, among others...).

However, within 5 minutes of sitting in the Kumo, I realized this one was not like the others. You put your arms and legs into pneumatic sleeves as you sit in this chair. As soon as you turn the machine on, the chair begins to pivot, first into a zero-gravity position as it measures the width of your shoulders and hips, and the length of your legs, arms and back up to the base of your neck. My guess is that the measurements provide enough information for the chair to work with your pressure points and alignment. It "cracked" my back into place almost instantly in the store. But moreover, after about 45 minutes with Thai Massage mode, I had no pain for the next 4 days for the first time in over a decade. It was a no-brainer.

After speaking with the owner Tom Walls, delivery was painless also.

The best part. When it arrived and was installed, of course, I immediately began using the machine, but I was worried that if I used it too much I was going to somehow hurt myself. So I started out cautiously, using it 15 minutes at a time. But each time I used the chair, not only was the pain still gone, my flexibility continued to increase. Worried about a setback, I kept using the Thai setting and continued to get better and better results.

Needless to say, I am back to walking 4 miles regularly, but more importantly, I have very little pain. I can sleep at night. I can stand for long periods. I can walk. Even work has become easier because the constant distraction of always having pain is gone. It has been the best investment of my life. No joke. Try it. It was life-changing for me.

We had a wonderful experience buying our chair. The young man was very knowledgeable, friendly and patient. We spent almost an hour just sitting in them trying to decide.

The young man that delivered the chair noticed that we were both in our 80's and,we said to just put it on he porch ! He said no he would bring it into the entrance way as we were to old to bring it in ourselves, He was so nice !

Our experience with The Modern Back was outstanding. The staff was able to help us select the perfect chair to fit our needs. The equipment arrived as scheduled and was in excellent condition. I was able to put it together myself and it worked perfectly right out of the three boxes. Now that we have had it for some time now our satisfaction continues to grow. I would recommend The Modern Back to anyone.

The Modern Back did a great job for me. I purchased 2 massage chairs. Both came in in great shape. They were easy to put together, they look good, and they both work well. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 was that the chairs got sent to a wrong address at first, so it took a little longer to get them. However this did give me a chance to deal with their customer service department. They got on it right away, resolved the issue, and the chairs arrived shortly thereafter. I was very pleased.

Can't believe we got it so soon , only 8 days after purchase ! Our salesman , Dan , told us to expect a week or two for shipment from the warehouse then up to a week for delivery and set up . But yesterday we got a call that it was in and it could be delivered the next day ! Charles and James were prompt , efficient , and clean ! Not a piece of cardboard or plastic anywhere . Hubby's happy , I'm happy !

Amazing service with Dan Nissan. He was so amazing I’m up to three chairs for friends snd keep turning more leads over to Dan. He is willing to make less and get more customers and I tell friends on what to buy. I have three osaki mystro pro 4d v2 and one I robotic for long torso people like me
