There is an African proverb that says “It takes a village to raise a child.” At The Mummas Village we want to provide you with a network of experts and other parents to educate, support and guide you through your pregnancy and parenting journey at every stage. Nowadays many of us live away from our families and our traditional support networks; we want to help bridge that gap and provide families with a community of support, empowerment and fun! We offer evidence based, logical and down to earth antenatal classes together with fun, stimulating, developmentally appropriate baby classes. Our ethos is to offer continuity of care, judgement free support and a safe community for parents to learn and families to grow. We have teachers right across Surrey and Hampshire all sharing the same passion and drive, we are all mothers and have had a huge range of birth and parenting experience. All of our antenatal teachers are FEDANT registered and we are all fully insured and undertake regular training to keep our knowledge and expertise up to date and relevant. We aim to help you make informed decisions and we will never judge your choices. We look forward to welcoming you to our village and joining you on your amazing journey.

Highly recommended!
I did Baby Massage and then moved on to Sensory, Song & Stretch sessions with Helen in Godalming. She was so friendly and welcoming, everything was explained so clearly, with no worries about being That Mum with the baby who refused to cooperate for any number of reasons! I loved that the classes were small, too.

Antenatal and postnatal classes
My husband and I started by attending the complete antenatal course where Anna was our teacher. It was very informative, in a friendly and safe environment. Anna is so knowledgeable and being a midwife meant we trusted and felt empowered by her words, experience and skill.
Once the baby arrived we booked the package of postnatal classes and currently really enjoying baby massage. There is no expectations on baby and I have made some great friends through her classes already.

Excellent classes
Excellent classes from preparing for birth to toddlerhood. My children both loved coming to classes with Steph in Cranleigh and I loved antenatal classes with her! Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing classes
Absolutely amazing classes. Everything is provided and you just need to turn up! Which as a new mum, very tired is what you need! From the first newborn days, Anna welcomed us all in with our tiny babies to all chat about our sleepless nights, feeding stories and everything in between! How to deal with colic and other top tips! We then went on to join baby massage, which is so relaxing for both baby and mum! Anna takes her time to explain every step and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We have now gone on to start baby sensory, song and stretch, which is different every time! The bonus part, Anna has the best chocolate bar tin after class finishes to eat whilst chatting to other mums. These classes and how easy and friendly they are as well as not being too busy, making it very personal have been a life saver as a new mum! Thank you Anna, you are the best!
