DO NOT BUY, after 3 weeks of no updates I cancelled the order, two weeks went by and no refund, I emailed them and they said the refund was already approved, two months later I still have not received my refund, I had to dispute the charge with my bank for a chair they never even shipped. Worst experience with an online furniture store I've ever had.

Ordered a Chair from them. It arrived a bit late but was acceptable still, sadly when unpacking I noticed a lever to adjust a armrest was broken off. I sent them an email asking for a replacement part a month ago and have still yet to receive a reply. Sent them messages over their platform chat, but nothing!

This is really sad as the chair looks and feels great, but the customer support is just horrible. If something is broken you should be there immediately to fix it and not just ignore it.

Order cancelled – no refund, no communication

I agreed with The Office Crowd to cancel my order, and they confirmed this. Yet despite that, I have not received my refund. Since then, the company has gone completely silent – they have stopped replying to my emails and have ignored all attempts at contact.

This is unacceptable business practice. When a company promises a refund, they must honor it. Instead, I have been left out of pocket and forced to escalate the matter by reporting them as fraudulent to my bank.

Trust is the foundation of any customer relationship, and The Office Crowd has broken that trust entirely. Their lack of transparency and refusal to communicate shows a disregard for customers.

⚠️ Warning to others: Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. If they see this review, I hope they finally take responsibility, issue my refund, and stop treating customers this way.

Incorrect size supplied and no real attempt made to rectify the issue, so I’m left out of pocket.

DO NOT BUY. I placed an order in late October and requested cancellation immediately. They confirmed in writing that the order was cancelled and promised a full refund within 10 days. It has been over a month and I have received absolutely nothing. They have stopped replying to emails and I am now forced to go through a legal bank dispute just to get my own money back. Completely unreliable.

Today marks the 16th day since I made an order with the office crowd. Communication is shockingly so poor. I have had to chase for an update myself. You've just lost another customer and certainly not purchasing from TOC in the future

Placed an order before looking at this website. i am beginning to believe i have been scammed. Need to source the parts i need some other way. My advice is do not order or buy from them as they are a big scam

they went into liquidation 2024 but still take your money tell you 5 to 10 day delivery no good bad company do not use

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

I placed an order a month ago and they will only give vague updates to say they are working on a backlog. I very much suspect they do not actually have the chairs in stock. I will be raising a fraud case with our bank.

After weeks spent chasing my order I asked for a refund which, to be fair, was accepted without issue. I then spent weeks chasing my refund and in the end had to give up and get my credit card company to reverse the charge.
Don't use, go somewhere, anywhere else.

scammers. maybe 4 months since i ordered a chair, they said they were going to give me a refund 2 months ago only just occured to me i have not received any refund or the chair. extremely disingenuous people

My experience is exactly same as others who've had horrible experiences with this company. HUGE MISTAKE not seeing the reviews here before buying. After paying £349 for my order - TOC-11361, the 'shop' app they use has showed no progress whatsoever with my order. Tried severally to contact customer service for updates - nothing. Then I get very vague email that said nothing about where exactly my order is or when I'll receive it.

I demand my REFUND immediately. Your company is apparently ignoring me flat out.

I’m honestly so disappointed with my experience. The website looks really polished and gave me confidence to order, but the reality has been completely different.

I placed my order on 8 October, and it didn’t arrive until 30 October, which was far longer than the estimated delivery time at checkout.

When it finally arrived, the chair was broken and very clearly not refurbished, despite being advertised as such. And to be fair, when you buy something refurbished, you don’t expect it to be pristine, but you do expect it to be functional and presentable. This looked like it had been taken straight out of a skip: the frame was badly scuffed, the seat was marked, the whole thing was just dirty, which I could have cleaned up, but the height-adjustment (pneumatic) lift didn’t work at all. So it was way too high for me and didn't fit under my desk, and I couldn't adjust it.

I contacted the company straight away and, to their credit, they did arrange a next-day collection for the return, which I appreciated.

I then spoke to Lucy, who confirmed the chair had been received back on 4 October and told me the refund would be authorised within 10 working days.

That timeframe has long passed, and I’ve heard nothing since.

I’ve emailed multiple times, tried calling (no answer), and still haven’t received either a refund or an update. I’m now having to raise a credit card dispute to get this resolved.

It’s been such a frustrating experience, and I genuinely feel misled. I trusted the site's look, but I really wish I’d checked other reviews before ordering.

My experience with The Office Crowd has been completely unacceptable. My order (TOC 11132 and TOC 11135) took over 16 days to even partially arrive.
When the desk finally arrived, it was incomplete and unusable, making the two-week delay pointless. I am still waiting for the chair, which I have now cancelled. This entire process has wasted a significant amount of my time and energy due to consistent fulfillment failures.
To make matters worse, I attempted to contact the team via instagram for an update but was completely ghosted ofc email as well. The lack of proactive communication and the sheer volume of problems show a severe failure in customer service and logistics.
Crucially, after formally requesting a full return and refund for the incomplete desk and cancellation of the chair, absolutely no one has attempted to contact me with details on when the desk will be collected or any further information about processing the refund.
I strongly advise others to look elsewhere if you require timely delivery and complete products.

I ordered a chair without checking the Trustpilot reviews. BIG MISTAKE! I Immediately sent an email trying to cancel the order and get a refund but have not received a reply for 2 days. I tried calling the company 10 times yesterday at different times. All of those times going to answer machine. I tried today again but nothing! Is there anyone working in their office? I have no idea. Very disappointed. I'm not sure how I am going to get my money back.

I ordered a chair on 23rd October. The website clearly states a delivery timeframe of 5–10 working days, yet I am now on Day 20 (working days) — 28 calendar days — and still have not received my order.

There has been no proactive communication whatsoever from the company to explain the delay. Every email I’ve sent has either been ignored or met with vague excuses. I was initially told there were a “high number of orders,” but since then they have stopped replying entirely.

I have emailed multiple times requesting an update and then a refund, and they have ignored every message. I have now:

Raised a dispute with ClearPay,

Contacted Trading Standards,

Informed them that under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the trader has 30 days to deliver goods unless a different date was agreed in writing.

This situation has caused significant stress and deterioration to my physical and mental wellbeing, and the lack of care shown by the company is unacceptable. I will be seeking compensation for the distress and the breach of legal obligations.

Their behaviour is not professional, honest, or reliable. They respond publicly to reviews asking for order numbers to appear helpful, but in reality nothing is done behind the scenes.

Do NOT buy from this company.
They do not honour their delivery times, they ignore emails, and they do not process refunds when requested. I currently have over £600 of my money sitting in their account while they provide no product and no communication.

Absolutely avoid this company. Not worth the hassle or the stress.

I ordered a chair 4 weeks ago which I am now desperate to receive for health reasons. The delivery window given on the website was 5-10 days. I have now waited 4 weeks and although I've had a reply to my email all they can say is that they have a minor backlog and have highlighted my order with their team. I am repeatedly trying to call and there is never an answer, just a generic answerphone which doesn't indicate if it is this company or not!
I have emailed today to say that I require the chair or a refund this week - I will be forced to buy an alternative chair before the end of the week as I cannot wait any longer.
The email reply refers to a slight delay due to a minor backlog. Waiting 4 weeks is not a slight delay and I consider this to be totally unacceptable.
I'm also very concerned about the reviews which say items are not even available or have not been refurbished when they do arrive! I am really kicking myself for ordering without looking at Trustpilot which I usually always do.
