I signed up yesterday
I signed up yesterday. However I took my exam and it will not let me go to the next section it just keeps loading. I’ve emailed twice Ive also tried calling the number and it keeps saying forward to voicemail. I’m really upset because i’d like to take this course but from other reviews i see communication issue. I’d like a refund as this is unprofessional and unacceptable.

The delay you experienced was due to a temporary technical issue, which required input from our IT team to fully resolve. This has now been fixed, and all course content, including exams and progression to the next sections, is working as normal.
Your course is now fully accessible, and you’re able to continue without any further issues. As an apology for the inconvenience caused, we have also offered a discount to those affected.

POOR COMMUNICATION AND COURSES
I purchased online beauty courses from this company for £100 and was extremely disappointed with the quality of the content provided. The courses were not up to the standard advertised and contained material that felt incomplete and poorly presented.
After raising my concerns, the company admitted in writing that the courses were not up to standard and stated they were in the process of updating them. I therefore requested a full refund. Since then, my emails have largely gone unanswered despite multiple follow-ups, and I feel that I have effectively been ignored as a paying client.
I was also told by the company that it was Klarna’s responsibility to issue the refund. However, after contacting Klarna directly, they confirmed that this is not correct and that the merchant is responsible for processing the refund.
Ignoring a client rather than addressing a legitimate complaint is both frustrating and unprofessional. As a result of the lack of response and resolution, I am now carefully considering my next steps to recover the money I am rightfully owed.
Overall, I have found the customer service disappointing and the handling of this issue unacceptable. I would urge others to carefully consider their options before purchasing.

We are sorry to read that you feel disappointed and would like to clarify the situation for transparency.
Firstly, your request for a refund could not be processed directly by us because the course purchase was made using Klarna instalments and the balance had not been fully paid. In these circumstances, refunds must be handled through Klarna’s payment process rather than issued independently by the merchant. This is standard procedure for third-party finance providers.
In addition, our Terms and Conditions clearly state that once a course has been accessed or completed, it is no longer eligible for a refund. Our records show that the course was fully accessed and completed.
We would also like to clarify that we did not admit that our courses were “not up to standard.” The communication referenced explained that we are continually reviewing and updating our courses, including re-filming content to further improve clarity and detail. Regular updates form part of our commitment to maintaining high-quality, current training, not an acknowledgment of inadequate content.
Regarding customer service, our support team has responded to multiple emails and has continued liaising with Klarna on your behalf. As explained previously, our customer service team cannot override finance-provider processes, and refund decisions involving instalment payments must go through our administration team in coordination with Klarna. We understand delays can be frustrating; however, responses from third-party providers can take time, and the matter has not been ignored and remains under review.
We remain committed to resolving matters correctly and in line with our policies and payment provider requirements.

Extremely disappointed…
My experience with The Online Beauty Courses has been completely unacceptable. I accidentally purchased the wrong course and contacted them immediately for a refund before ever activating it. I was clearly told that the refund would be sorted and that they would get back to me.
Since then, I have heard absolutely nothing. Despite repeatedly trying to contact them, I have been ignored. This level of customer service is appalling and completely unprofessional. Failing to respond after promising a resolution shows a total lack of accountability. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

I have done an online beauty course with this company, and it was really good and easy to access. The on line manuals were really easy to follow. The tutors are always available to answer your questions that you may need. Definitely be booking another course on the near future with them.

Great for add on courses for already qualified therapist
Ive done a few course online, its great to go bk and re read the theory although I wish I could print them off to keep in the salon. They are alot cheaper than paying for 1 2 1 classes . Ive been in the industry over 25 years and I've paid thousands for training. These are great add on courses for level 3 beauty therapist.

Good refresher courses
I have done several course with this company and find them very cost effective. I think they are good refresher courses but I wouldn’t feel confident if the course was completely brand new to me. I would like to see longer video demonstrations and more specific A&P for each course otherwise good courses.

Don't waste your money
I've bought 5 courses from these. The first, Korean lifting facial was good, the 2nd oxybrasion facial, was ok, it was disappointing compared to the first. I decided to get the Indian head massage, high frequency and strip and cluster lashes courses on a 3 for 2 offer and was very disappointing. The theory bits a&p is exactly the same on them all, but the worst part was the actual content, the strip lashes and cluster lashes course in particular was shockingly bad! Cluster lashes, especially when being described along with strip lashes are the cluster lashes you apply under the lashes. These were eye lash extensions. The video is years old and the application of them was horrible. Had someone actually done my lashes like that I wouldn't have left the salon like that. The video was actually embarrassing.
The high frequency and Indian head were also very poor, youde find better on 1000 tik too accounts for free.
Next, the certificates you receive, youde make better on canva in 5 mins, they keep it basic to try to get you to buy their copies at £10 each.
Lastly, don't think for 1 minute that any insurance companies recognise these courses, they don't.
Don't waste your money on these courses, you'll find ten times better on YouTube, insta or even tiktok for free.
