I checked if there was secure parking…
I checked if there was secure parking available at Hotel Neptune Berck-sur-Mer the previous day by calling them, I was told there was at €15 per night.
With that confirmed I booked through booking.com
Upon arrival the next day, I was told there were no spaces!! Why wasn't I told this beforehand, I wouldn't have booked whilst on my motorcycle as I need to have it securely parked overnight...
We couldn't stay there as the only option was to leave my boke out on the street (it would then be uninsured between 10pm and 6am)
We had to move on elsewhere and the hotel tell me (through booking.com) there is no refund, despite me doing all the checks I could before arrival that I could park securely (there was plenty of room to park a motorcycle in the secure parking I checked a number of times when I was there, but the hotel weren't interested)
So I booked with incorrect information provided, now neither booking.com or the hotel are interested in refunding for the 2 night stay that couldn't go ahead because I was given incorrect information....
Terrible, I wont stay here or be using booking.com ever again, I am however taking this further independently.
