Honestly, going into this, the expectation was the usual runaround: get assigned to some random location, slog through mindless grunt work for hours, and just stare at the clock waiting for it to be over. Most traditional community service setups are just straight-up exhausting busywork that doesn’t help anyone and leaves a person feeling completely drained. The People Foundation is a total breath of fresh air compared to all that. Having different levels of coursework and actually having a say in what kind of service gets done makes a massive difference right off the bat. It feels like an actual program instead of just an exercise in wasting people's time.
The coolest part is that it isn’t just sitting there mindlessly clicking through slides by yourself. Being able to review other people's work, edit things, and bounce thoughts and opinions back and forth completely flips the whole experience. Reading how someone else tackles a problem gives a ton of perspective that you'd totally miss on your own. It turns the whole requirement into something interactive where people are actually learning from one another and seeing practical ways to put the material to good use.
On top of the modules, the program actually pushes for real, tangible service out in the real world—doing small, everyday things that make a genuine difference for people. When someone is already tired and just trying to get their life handled, having a system that values mental engagement and actual community impact over pointlessly breaking someone's back is huge. The People Foundation built something that actually works and makes sense, and it beats the old-school grunt work model by a mile.

This is an online multi state (including GA) accredited community service site. You complete classes and lessons on everyday life experiences. There are lessons about the importance of helping ppl, defensive driving, anger management, mentoring, victim awareness, traffic classes, culture and diversity learning etc. Each module is timed and credited on your account. There is a $20 registration fee and $1 for each hour you need. This is good for ppl who work and cannot find time to complete their community service and you also gain valuable information along the way. I took these classes because I’m schedule is extremely busy but the more I read, engaged and learned I’ve picked up valuable lessons in life. Even if you don’t have community serve these learning modules are free! The only time you pay is when you want certification for your time spent. But I will continue to use these modules outside of community service for daily reminders or if I need guidance, pointers or before putting myself in a situation I will later regret. I love this program!

Easy straightforward the program is something that can help a lot of people who are unable to got out and complete hours you can do it comfort of your own home or even at work on your breaks well anywhere or anytime you have free time most modules and task anywhere between 2min - 30 min depending on module or task and it’s completely self paced

This company more then helping me is teaching me lessons that no please I hear before, because about the lesson that teach with explanation and exercise to put in practice what we learn is amazing to learn new and develop new ideas how to confront things in life the self control that teaches here no place I here or see before I’m more then great full with this company.

How simple and easy everything is to understand and to complete. This is a great alternative option for anyone.

Love this website and the fact it is offered online for people that do outside community service or just dont have the time. This website gives clear instructions on how to do your community service by lessons, peer review and other tasks you can do. Communication with them is AWESOME, they respond almost immediately if not within a couple hours. You do have to pay per hours that you do or need to do which is a downside, but thats the price you pay for doing the crime. Topics are actually real life situations people can relate too, i wish there was more questions to the lessons to make it more time worthy but thats okay too. It seems slow at first but it does add up over time even if you just work on a little bit day by day.

I love my experience. Im able to complete assignments/Hours in the comfort of my own home. Especially with work and my sons sports it keeps me very busy. So alot of the time Im home late so it give me time once I settle at night to get in some time at my convenience

Community service with you guys I’m learning a lot. I’m now applying the knowledge that I gained into my everyday life. This is a must do and I recommend everyone to do community service this way. Thank you sooooo soooo much for all you do and the life skills you taught me. I’m very grateful I see life differently now and ready to take it on the right way

They have a very easy to understand menu and the ease of acccess being able to do community service from home is very helpful for me when I work so much, They are a good way to achieve community service hours without needing to find a ride somewhere every day it makes the situation overall easier to access for you

I received a DUI in 2025, and I had to do 40 hours of community service. I also have a felony background that made it difficult for me to find community service volunteer opportunities that would accept me as a volunteer. Having the ability to do this work online and learn more about myself and the ways I can improve myself was wonderful, and the site is easy to use. The cost is pretty reasonable, and it seems like the cost is really just based on what they need to run the platform, ie they're not trying to make money off of people who are experiencing hardship.

The people foundation is a great platform to do community service hours you can actually earn hrs and learn some things at the same time

I had to do court ordered community service, and I was fortunate enough to do it online with the people foundation. It was insightful, meaningful, and very affordable. I honestly think I gained a lot from it. What I really liked was that I was able to do it at my own pace. Anybody who has to do court ordered community service should check them out. Definitely an amazing platform with a lot of resources that are beneficial to your life. They also have great customer service. Highly recommended.

I’ve been doing smooth service with the people who foundation for about 2 1/2 months I enjoy doing my tasks and learning new things. It’s a great way to be active learning new things. they are respectful and very helpful.

This company helped me log my community service hours. Additionally, it helped me be reflective about the choices I have made and how I can make better ones. I liked how my supervisor checked my work daily. I also enjoyed being able to review other people's work. It truly was a very helpful non-profit organization committed to helping people take accountability for their choices without making it feel like one bad choice defines them forever.

I really needed a way to.complete community service. I have kids with autism I could really get any place because I wasnt working so I didnt have too much gas to get around. This platform was easy to understand, the lessons were applicable and easy to process. There were a few options for completing the hours. I found this platform to be amazing. Just make sure you read everything to get an understanding of how your hours are clocked and when your able to certify your hours, also if you use someone elses card they should be near you as they may have to sign that they approved the charge. Overall, this is a great way to complete your hours and its cheaper!!!!
