No Customer after sales service
We were, in our opinion delivered a 3 seater sofa off the shop floor. The 2 seater was like new. We spoke to Rhys the Customer Service Manager, who was extremely rude, abrupt and totally unhelpful. Absolutely no intention of maintaining any customer care or support after sale. Definitely the worst buying experience we’ve ever had. We’re stuck with a 3 seater reclining leather sofa that’s looked haggard from 3 weeks after delivery.

To provide some clarity, both the 3-seater and 2-seater sofas supplied were brand-new items delivered directly from our warehouse stock. They were not shop floor models and had not been used or displayed prior to delivery. We fully understood your concerns and took them seriously from the outset.
As part of our aftersales process, we arranged for an independent technician to visit and assess the sofa. Following their inspection, they confirmed there were no faults present and that the appearance described was consistent with natural settlement of the internal fillings, which can occur in the early weeks of use with upholstered furniture.
In an effort to provide reassurance and reach a resolution, we also discussed alternative options, including the possibility of swapping with a shop floor model if that would provide reassurance. Unfortunately, this option was declined at the time.
We always aim to act fairly, transparently, and professionally, and we do not take feedback like this lightly. Should you wish to discuss the matter further, we remain open to doing so and would encourage you to contact us directly.

From ordering to delivering everything was a good experience. I was kept informed and the delivery lads were careful and accommodating with my requests. As a repeat customer I can highly recommend the company.

Delivery delayed by Places for Homes
Delivery was great once delivery date and time specified. However, it took several weeks from item being delivered to company before being delivered to my home by third party supplier. Had to email to chase up delivery details.

Just to clarify, as per our records we emailed you on 29th July to confirm that the goods would fit through your doorways fully assembled. If not, we would have disassembled the order and then reassembled it in your home. The order was then collected and delivered to you on 6th August.
We're sorry that you feel that this was an unacceptable length of time, however, we wanted to ensure that the goods would fit in your property.
Either way, we’re glad to hear that once the delivery date and time were arranged, everything went well.

Double check what you order is correct
Hi I made the mistake of ordering a theo chair not a leo chair from this website - i found the mistake out immediately on delivery as it didnt match the sofa i had and on ringing up. I was abruptly told er nothing we can do its a bespoke item ? which left me with a non matching chair at over £800 - good job the manufacturers were much more helpful.

This was a great shopping experience from start to finish. We wanted to purchase a nest of glass coffee tables and this compact trio fitted perfectly in our lounge.
Delivery was on time and the delivery team kept us informed. Tables were packed to full protection almost crated and the tables arrived in perfect condition. We are enjoying using them!!

Delivery was on time and as expected. Drivers were polite and helpful. Part of my delivery was delivered built and the drivers assisted me by attaching the feet to the remaining items. Extremely pleased with my purchase. Will definitely recommend A Place for Homes.

I have to complete a review for...The Place For Homes...we have made purchases here over a period of time and am always more than satisfied with the assistance from Rhys and his sales team. On this occasion we had an issue with the colour of our new leather 2 seater and 3 seater suite, I thought the colour was lighter than it was, when I had viewed it in the showroom and on delivery was rather disappointed with the colour as it seemed much darker.
I was given amazing help and advice by Rhian and a number of incredible options to satisfy me..superb customer service.
Also, need to mention the 2 delivery men, both were incredibly polite, professional and courteous. Great team work, much appreciated. Why go anywhere else?

Excellent stock selection, and staff more than helpful
All the staff involved were excellent, the salesman made us feel comfortable, he left us to make our choice without being pushy, helpful, polite and professional. The secretary who phoned was polite and helpful. The two delivery drivers certainly entertained us, again polite, helpful and humerous, brought a smile to our faces, thank you. The chairs we purchased came early, a nice surprise. A pleasure to deal with everybody involved.

Excellent Company.
We recently purchased a rise and recliner chair from this Company. The salesman was very attentive and extremely helpful but not pushy. We purchased the chair Saturday lunchtime and it was delivered two days later by delivery men who were very professional.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this Company.
