The instructor was funny and friendly and it was really simple to get moving on the board

My son did surf skating as part of a group with Seb. He was very knowledgeable about the sport he really engaged with the kids and is obviously passionate about teaching this skill to beginners. My son really had lots of fun, and is begging for his own board. Definitely recommend to others A++++++

I took part in a surfskate session with Seb today. He was awesome!! He noticed straight away that I was really nervous and tried his best to help me relax on the board. His reassuring manner and gentle persuasion was just the right mix to make it very enjoyable.

I booked a private session for a group of 9 Scouts. Laura who arranged our booking was so helpful (even when I added on more Scouts very last minute!) which made the process of booking for a group very simple. We had a 50 minute session with Seb and honestly, what an experience for the Scouts (and a great price too!). Seb was fantastic with every single one of them. He spent time with each of them individually, supporting them to build their confidence with each new skill he taught. It was incredible to see them go from not being able to stand on the board to moving around independently. Thank you so much Seb! We will definitely be back. BRAVO from 115th Fife Scout Troop.

Seb hosted a fab party for 13 ten year old boys. Lots of excitement in the room and he managed to teach everyone of them how to start skating. They all loved it.

We had our son’s 12th birthday party with Seb at surfskate lost shore. It was excellent and surpassed all expectations. The boys all had a great time and Seb kept the group engaged and entertained the whole time. He was particularly good at bringing on the less confident members of the group. My daughter had a Surfskate birthday party. All of the kids were absolute beginners and Sebastian was great with them. He made the lesson fun and they loved it!

While the primary focus of my visit to Scotland was to surf Lost Shore wave pool, I was pleasantly enlightened following my on-to-one class with Sebastian at The SurfSkate Academy. His theory and instruction challenged me to improve my technique and progress my skill in a way that can translate to my surfing. The experience even influenced me to purchase my own Yow board so I can practice back home. Recommend for anyone + everyone!

Seb’s a brilliant instructor. Expertly guides complete beginners such as myself to quickly gain confidence and progress as well as advanced skaters on specific areas to improve. Equipment is top-notch, with a variety of surf skates to find your own ‘sweet spot’ and better enjoy the sport/past-time. Highly recommended for regular sessions!

I had a 1:1 lesson with Seb and I can't believe how much I actually learned in that hour, he broke everything down into stages then explained how to built it up again. It was a really enjoyable and worthwhile lesson, especially how you can transfer those skills on to the water.
I had a surf lesson the next day and was able to practice what I had learned.
100% recommend getting a lesson with Seb.

Seb is a amazing coach. His energy and passion for surfskate and surfing shines through and he always makes sure sessions are a lot of fun! I'd definitely recommend Seb and his surfskate academy for anyone wanting to learn to surfskate or improve their existing skills.

Sebastian came to our Beavers session to teach them surfskating. He risk assessed the hall beforehand, brought all the equipment required and had a great rapport with this group of little kids. He supported and encouraged and left them all feeling so happy and with a sense of achievement at the end of the session. It’s a hard job to keep a group of 6-8year olds focused for an hour in the evening but Sebastian did this so naturally and kept the energy going. Amazing! Highly recommend!

Brilliant, I attended in the wintertime so the session was indoors. Small class and Seb is so enthusiastic and a great instructor. I came away with so much more than I expected and it’s definitely all relatable to surfing for sure. Highly recommended and I will be back again

Seb is a really skilful coach. He sees everyone as individuals and has a sense of what’s going on for you. Myself and my wife were both really nervous and he took the time to put us both at ease. So patient :)
I was always too scared to get on a board and can’t believe that at 50 I’m experiencing this for the first time. The confidence the lessons are giving me is amazing. The lessons are chilled and fun but learning something new every week.
Couldn’t recommend it enough to people of all ages - we’re never too old to have fun and learn new skills ☀️

My son has loved his skate lessons. Seb is great with the kids, inspires my son and very experienced. He's progressed so much in the past 2 months and Seb tailors the class to the kids abilities. Also, the cantene is a lovely place to sit and watch the surf while the kids are in class 👌.
