I sent a 40 yr old chronosport champagne diving watch for overhaul. It had actually been used for diving and was owned by my great uncle so held sentimental value. The service I received was second to none. I was kept informed at all stages, even though the movement was not salvageable, he was able to source a replacement and fit for me. The watch I received back was almost as good as new. So impressed. Look no further for a trustworthy and skilled professional.

I must say I was apprehensive about sending my beloved tag watch off in the post but I can only express how greatful I am to Alex. Professional throughout the whole process and kept me up to date the whole time. I will only be using Alex @ the watch professional for my watch services and repairs in the future. Thanks you Alex

Like most I was a little dubious about sending my expensive timepiece to someone I had come across on Instagram (by chance). Alex provided me with everything I asked for to confirm that he and his business was legitimate (proof of address etc, I did my due diligence).

Well - cut a long story short, I am amazed and over the moon with the result! The watch is 15 years old and looks as good as new the day I received it for my 18th birthday.

If you have any doubts in your mind about sending you watch to Alex, please put those aside. I can assure you; you will not be disappointed with the service you receive.

Alex has cleaned and refurbished my son's Tag watch and has been an absolute joy to deal with. He has kept me informed from start to finish and has made a fantastic job. I've now used Alex for a few of my older watches and he does a great job be that complex rebuilds or simply a case polish. His communication is always spot on and prices are also keen.

So having been following Alex for a while now on Instagram I decided to send my Tudor and an Omega to him for servicing. I have always used Rolex for previous service requirements for the Tudor but as their costs were always a factor in when the watch went in, I decided to look elsewhere. Another complication was I wanted a link removed and on my particular strap not a straightforward process. Alex carried out all the work in a most professional way and kept me up to date on what was required and how it was all progressing including photos of the interior. If you are considering having a treasured timepiece serviced I would look no further that Alex, he is a master at what he does.

I sent my Tag Aquaracer 2000 series watch to Alex (the watch professional) as it was not working correctly? I’m so pleased I did as it was a risk to send an expensive watch to someone not known to me or recommended by someone I know but it was a decision well made in my view? Alex promptly came back to me via email letting me know what the problem was and the best way to rectify it? All through the process he kept me up to date of what stage my watch was currently at? He even showed me his work of what he undertook via pictures of which I was very interested in to see indeed. As I was happy with the work he undertook I gladly paid his fee which was very competitive and reasonable by the way and my watch was duly dispatched back to me all sorted. This guy is a very trustworthy person I highly recommend him & his work he’s very easy to use or to be contacted. I will for sure be sending my watch back to him for future polishes or a full service? Keep up the superb work Alex and thankyou for an outstanding job on my timepiece.

I can honestly say that the service I have received from Alex has been outstanding. From the moment I contacted him to see if he could repair and service my vintage Omega watch his attention to details has been first class. He firstly explained the process of the service and his pricing structure, and having agreed on the way to proceed I forwarded my watch to him. His communication throughout the process has been excellent and having now received the watch back I am delighted with the result. I would recommend his services without reservation.

I asked Alex to service and carry out minor repairs to my Omega Genève Calibre 613.

I also opted to have the case ‘Brightened’ to bring back the original finish on this 50 or so year old watch given to me by my fiancée.

Discussion via email settled that I should send the watch for initial inspection and following this work was agreed. I made things trickier for Alex as I wanted to have the watch back within only a few weeks to wear at my wedding. Alex pulled out all the stops.

Brilliantly and in the nick of time the watch came on the morning of the big day at about 1030. I got to wear it at the ceremony and all went great.

Fabulous work, the case refinish is tip top. The sunburst graining such a part of this beautiful period piece is back after years of handling. Alex’s meticulous work has added greatly to its appearance. The mechanism feels smooth and precise. Following Alex’s advice about the glass, I’m so pleased it looks fab just polished. I love it.

The thing that stands out for me about the service provided was the personal and honest advice and Alex being available to discuss the on going work at any time.

I approached Alex after seeing his blog, about servicing and restoring a favoured watch of mine a Girard Perregaux.

Very pleased for several reasons. Firstly, a previous personally recommended watchmaker deemed my Omega irreparable - and Alex wasn't immediately put off by their diagnosis when I contacted him. He agreed to to dismantle and inspect and provide his own no obligation diagnosis within 48 hours of receiving the watch. He duly and swiftly considered a repair potentially possible. We agreed he should proceed, as I had nothing to lose and I didn't mind if the repair involved any minor cosmetic damage. The watch has significant personal attachment - and if it could be made to work again, I'd be more than cock a hoop. Secondly, he soon provided an estimate for the repair, full service and some parts which needed replacing. No payment or deposit was required. It was explained there was currently at least a 4 week plus timescale involved. Confirmation and acceptance was given to proceed. Thirdly, I'm now a very very happy person with a fully functional and cosmetically improved timepiece. I felt very confident about the whole procedure - mainly because Alex always kept me in the loop as to progress and information. Happy me and many thanks Alex.
