Incredible trip, incredible Travel Agent
We have been regular Thorne Travel customers for a number of years and the staff have always been helpful with any enquiry/request being dealt with quickly with minimal fuss.
Recently we returned from a dream trip travelling across Asia and finishing in the Maldives which was tailored to our specific wishes by Thorne.
What a trip with all of the flight connections and transfers on time and seamless. Despite the recent disruptions with flights alterations were made by Thorne to ensure our trip went ahead as planned.
The highlight was our 3 day cruise in Ha Long Bay that was recommended by Thorne and was the most luxurious and amazing experience in our travels over the years….. incredible!!
We have a lot of travel plans for the years to come and will not be dealing with anyone else but Thorne, cannot recommend them highly enough which we have already done to our family and friends. Visiting the shop is like popping in for a coffee with friends, so welcoming.
All staff are brilliant but must mention Christiane who was a pleasure to deal with, made us laugh and her knowledge is amazing. We cannot praise her enough for her patience and help with everything.

My husband and I have just returned from our very first cruise, and what an incredible experience it was! We travelled to Alaska and had a two-night stay in Seattle beforehand, which was absolutely amazing and the perfect start to our adventure.
A huge thank you to Lucy at Thorne Travel, Prestwick, who organised everything for us. As first-time cruisers, I was quite anxious and nervous. Although I am well travelled, I had never spent any time on a cruise ship and didn’t know what to expect. Lucy was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and supportive from the moment we booked. She provided us with all the information we needed and even more, which really helped put my mind at ease in the lead-up to our holiday.
Our Alaskan cruise exceeded every expectation. We were so fortunate to see an incredible amount of wildlife and sea life – more than we could ever have imagined. It truly was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
I would absolutely use Thorne Travel again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone, especially first-time cruisers. In fact, we’re already excitedly talking about our next adventure – Japan, and we’ll definitely be booking it through Thorn Travel!

Hi. If our holiday is as good and straight forward as the booking process all will be well.
We have used another local company for about 15 years, however when push came to shove and we had issues with flights, claims etc we felt very let down.
We walked into the Prestwick Branch - never having used this Company and walked out some time later picking up a great deal! We’ve booked an escorted trip (never done this before) if all goes to plan we pay up turn up, everything else done by Thorne.
John and Lucy are quite the double act and very quickly knew what we were looking for! No mean feat! John even knew the cabin! and could tell us about the ship. What more can we ask for.
I’m sure it will all pan out as planned! No worries on that score.

Katie was amazing from start to finish with booking my holiday. We wanted to do 3 USA destinations but we were unsure on which and Katie has no issues with giving us a few other quotes. Any queries I had Katie was always there on hand to answer them. The location of all 3 hotels were the absolute best we couldn’t ask for anything more. I’d have no hesitations to book with katie again.

Throne travel
Booked a trip to Disney land Paris through throne travel and dealt with Katie. The customer service we received from Katie from start to finish was outstanding. This was our 1st time booking with Throne travel and we will definitely be booking with them again and would also highly recommend them.

The quality of customer service and friendly staff made my holiday a dream right from the start. Thorne Travel are an amazing travel agents! Our experience booking our trip to Disneyland Paris was flawless.
Katie Roy handled our booking and we appreciate all the help and effort she put into making sure our trip was top notch.
From making sure airport special assistance was added on for our autistic daughter to rebooking our holiday when we had to reschedule due to an injury,nothing was too much bother and she was happy to help.

A Proper Family Travel Agent
There are times that you can spend hours trawling through comparison sites looking for a holiday....... Or you could go traditional and turn to experts who have been organising holidays for people for years.
A good friend is related by marriage to David Anton and he has often said what good deals he garnered for him and his family. Now, I worked in the travel industry for 30 years as a pilot for Airtours, MyTravel and Thomas Cook so have always been able to get a decent deal through work. Now happily retired, I am like many - looking for a good service and a deal.
The Lad wanted to go to Bangkok over Christmas and I approached David for suggestions. He came up with good suggestions for hotels where Tom wanted to be with flights spot on the dates he needed to travel at a very good price.
Communications throughout were excellent with travel permits all sorted out.
I am now researching a trip for the wife to Malta in spring for one of Tom's concerts.
As Fred said...... Book Early ;-)

I would have loved to give Thorne travel 5 stars but...
I would love to give Thorne travel 5 stars but I have to be honest. To its absolute credit, the planning and attention to detail was excellent. Our agent Katie did a lot of work on our behalf and arranged exactly what we wanted from our trip. We were so pleased that we actually booked again with them for another trip next year - BUT - We had a potential disaster while in NY and found it necessary to ring the promised 24 hour Thorne Travel helpline only to find that it just rang and rang, WhatsApp etc contact was not responded to either. We had to live off our wits to sort out the problem we encountered and thankfully resolved it ourselves. It would have been far less stressful if their helpline was answered, we did feel totally abandoned by them at the time. I do hope they sort this out by the time our next trip happens, but we will feel less confident about ringing them if we need support in the future. Sorry Thorne Travel, I have to say it as it is.

At the time, we experienced an unexpected network issue which prevented us from receiving incoming calls, including those regarding your late taxi. This has since been fully addressed, and we now have additional fallback measures in place to ensure our out-of-hours support is always accessible.
