Thorntons Solicitors Avaliações

The sale of my property was seamless with regular updates throughout the process.

Jenna made the whole process of selling our property so easy. She guided us with everything along the way and kept us up to date with the progress.
I would highly recommend Jenna and Thorntons Solicitors.

I worked with several members of the Thorntons team and they were all very efficient and quick to respond. Laura in particular made the job of selling my flat quick and easy. Would highly recommend using Thorntons Solicitors.

Gillian in Arbroath was amazing and helped us throughout the whole process with selling and buying our properties. We couldn’t have asked for someone better.

House purchase was made easy. We were kept up to date with proceedings, guided on the process of a purchase and given relevant documents with written explanations as they became available. Any questions were quickly answered. Very efficient, thank you!

All the staff at Thorntons have been wonderful helping with my recent move/ They have made it all straightforward and stress free , Everyone is really nice and friendly I would certainly recommend Thorntons to anyone thinking of selling and buying property Thankyou so very much. Joy Collins and family

I was extremely happy with my service as Thorntons Solicitors dealt with claim as the third party was foreign but they got it done with no anxiety on my side and got me a payout exceeding what I was expecting.

All of the team were very professional from The estate agents admin staff to paralegal and solicitor. They continued to update me on everything that was going on from appointments made to those that were cancelled to all notes of interest and offers made. It was a very seamless process from start to finish. And the new buyers of my home were under a tight timeline to get the offer through and accepted the team performed under this pressure and delivered.

It was a great experience for the purchase of my first house. Ellen was very attentive, had great attention to detail and brilliant communication throughout. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering using Thorntons.

I was really please that I had chosen Thorntons to market and complete the conveyancing of my property. From my initial enquiry through to completion, I was provided with expert advice. I was kept informed and every interaction was carried out with professionalism.

I strongly recommend avoiding this solicitor. The service was absolutely terrible, and in my experience, they did not demonstrate a proper understanding of the matter. Their communication was also extremely poor, and I found their written English unacceptable for someone working as a professional solicitor.

I would strongly advise going elsewhere and finding a more competent solicitor who can properly represent you, communicate clearly, and provide the help and support you need.

Gillian Leckie at Thorntons Solicitors provided an excellent service throughout the process of selling a house in Scotland while I resided in England. Efficient and prompt, I would highly recommend.

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances the team at Thorntons have had to support me for several months rather than several weeks as is the normal.
They have been proactive, they have kept me up to date, given me practical advise and supported any decision I have made.
In particular id like to thank mr Hamalton for going above and beyond over this different period for me

Very disappointed. Initially the contact was positive.

A call back from a solicitor on the friday which resulted in the promise of an email being sent on Monday and a call back.

No email sent and no call back.

Its embarrassing as I prepped the other party to expect the email. Still no call back or response to an email asking for an update.

There is no reasonable excuse for this. I would not recommend them at this time.

We were lucky to have Laura Franceschi of Thorntons LLP Dundee guide us through the legal aspects of the purchase of our flat in Dundee. Laura has excellent inter-personal skills, communicates extremely effectively both verbally and via email, has good attention to detail, and responds quickly and completely to queries. All in all, she made the process very easy and worked hard to accommodate our timescales during a period when we had limited availability.

Working with Donna was a breeze. She was very proactive in all of her work, and extremely available and responsive should you have queries. Would fully recommend Thorntons and Donna for conveyancing.

Gillian Stewart was very professional and super helpful, she made sure the whole process went smoothly.

I cannot recommend this firm enough they have been so helpful and understanding especially Jillian Lawson has she has followed up everything .a firm i would truly recommend to anyone .great service. Thankyou Thornton dundee

Simply put, the team at Thorntons successfully moved me to a new house with minimal fuss and every step explained. Couldn't recommend higher.

I put my trust in the property related part of Thorntons, 2 Lynseys and an Ellen, can’t praise them enough, kept me updated regularly until the job was done, always available and everything explained as we went along, don’t know what I would’ve done without them at a stressful time, thank you
