Inaccurate joining instructions that sent us to the Thruxton Centre where the model railway convention knew nothing about the experience! Required to turn up in trousers and full sleeved shirts on a hot sunny day to be told that I could wear shorts and a T shirt. Luckily I had had the sense to h as be them in my car. Appalling food and coffee at the cafe so either don’t use it or just take your own. Instructor was nice enough but he gave directions to the two experience seekers via a radio and never showed us how it should be done. So you had two novices driving like ‘miss Daisy’ around a roundabout of cones trying to get the cars to skid and then control them. Not what I expected at all.
