Visited MG Kings Lynn at about 9.10 on…

Visited MG Kings Lynn at about 9.10 on a Saturday morning, no where to park, looking around the showroom at a new HS. Unfortunately all the staff were outside moving cars (or in some cases pretending to be an Aeroplane. Completely ignored for over 3/4 hour before someone finally came in to see if we needed help. (God help all the people who had been ringing non stop whilst we were in there) Looked at a 2 yr old PHEV that had been on site for a few weeks. It was absolutely disgusting inside. not sure if the staff had been using it for tip runs or this is how cars are presented. Needless to say order placed with Glyn Hopkins now for a HS PHEV.

Full Tank Agreed - Delivered Almost Empty

We were assured our car would be delivered with a full tank of fuel. Instead, it arrived almost empty. When I raised this with Darren, his response was:
"I do apologise but that was touch and go getting it there today very rushed but I did take the £99 admin out of deal."
That doesn’t excuse the missing fuel—both the full tank and the admin fee removal were part of the agreed deal. The fuel alone was worth £80, and skipping it without notice or compensation shows a lack of care and professionalism.
It being a “rush” is a poor excuse. Just refund the difference.
This left a sour taste after what was previously a good experience. Disappointed and wouldn’t recommend based on this interaction.

Got the car I wanted at a good price.

Got the car I wanted at a good price.
Staff great & an issue I had with the car was sorted after I spotted it on handover day.
My only gripe would be the valet, what I would call a cosmetic valet if you can see it you clean it.
On opening the rear door after getting home the surround was dirty with long term dirt taking me an hour to sort out !
Overall after owning the car for nearly two weeks I am very happy.

Cars have problems every couple of Months

After making a purchase and being pushed to write reviews immediately, I had to bring my car to the garage literally within the month of purchasing. After being told I would be contacted to get the car booked in, I received no communication and had to contact Vauxhall myself to get booked in. Following this there is now another issue with the car, which a major health and safety concern and advised by the sales team to look on youtube and that every couple of months things go wrong with cars. Vauxhall think it's normal that you purchase a car and every month have to book in for another fault.

Amazing team

The buying process was good and issues…

I've edited this to 1 star as Thurlow Nunn are absolutely useless. I responded to their below request for further information and I've not heard a thing from them. This further proves that they just want your money and then have nothing to do with you once they've got it.
The buying process was good and issues with the car I was buying were fixed. Ranj kept me upto date with videos of the car. If you're looking for after sales support though, this is not the place to buy from. Even though they advertise themselves as having a great and supportive after sales team, 6 weeks on from buying my car, I've not heard a thing. It makes me realise that they're excellent until they get your money and then they quickly lose interest in you.

I was due to change my Vauxhall, have always driven a Vauxhall car, after the sales assistant listened to my requirements he suggested a Nissan qashqai, I am so happy with my purchase

Poor customer service

Very bad customer service aswell as dealership they have had my car for over 2 weeks now waiting for a part they keep putting off the delivery 6 times now been asking for a courtesy car which they denied even tho it's there fault they got no idea how to keep customers informed and happy would not recommend this dealership

I have nothing positive to say about my…

I have nothing positive to say about my experience with Thurlow Nunn. Even the coffee was rubbish. Bought a used car from them earlier this year. It seemed like a good price and the salesman was keen to do a deal. I received a video and was told how immaculate the car was. I purchased the car, went to pick it up from a different branch and noticed various faults with the car (rear wing detached from car, paint chips here and there and a steering wheel that was massively scratched). Asked whether there had been a mistake on the video or on the '3000' point check the Hyundai ‘professional’ mechanics conduct prior to sale, and was told they couldn't believe these issues had been missed. The sales manager informed me it was used car (thanks for stating the obvious) and these faults are to be expected. Luckily for me I was having the car delivered to a far more professional branch of Thurlow Nunn (Luton) and I grabbed the sales manager who also informed me he would reject the car..... (he told me he would reject a car that his colleagues in another Thurlow Nunn had sold.....). After 2 hours of negotiations I managed to persuade the useless sales people in the not so professional branch of Thurlow Nunn to rectify the issue (at the Luton branch). These were issues that should have been been picked up pre-delivery. If you are going to buy a car from them then get an independent inspection or go over the car with a fine tooth comb.

Lowestoft Horrendous

On 3rd July 2025 I went out with the intention of buying a new car not too sure which I was going to purchase so I went to all the dealers in the area but I whittled it down in the end to a Toyota Aygo (I had an Aygo to trade in) or a Hyundai i10, I looked at an i10 last year in Mangrove green, but put off my purchase until this year. I also liked the Aygo but the range of colours they had was not appealing to me. After spending the whole day looking at cars and getting a valuation on my Aygo with happy outgoing friendly sales reps, my last cars to look at was at Hyundai Lowestoft and they still had the i10 in Mangrove green this is where I met Bethany Marshall I told her I wanted to buy when the 75 reg start as it was getting closer to September but she told me she could probably get a good deal on a 25 reg. She said she would e-mail me the details with the deals. When I got back to my car my Mother was with me and I said I was not impressed with Bethany as she showed no enthusiasm at all (I’m surprised she actually sells cars) but I bypassed that because I thought if she came up with a good deal I’d be happy to talk to her. On the 10th July 2025 I still had not heard from Bethany Marshall (no e-mail or phone call) so I had my decision to buy an i10 so I phoned her and said I still had not received her e-mail so she said she would send the e-mail immediately and phone me back within 5 minutes. 1 hour later she still had not called and I had not received any e-mails. I thought I cannot wait any longer for her to call me back as I had various things to sort out, so I phoned Hyundai in Norwich I spoke to Craig Anderson who was the usual friendly sales person he emailed me within ½ hour from the time of our telephone conversation. Bethany Marshall finally phoned well over 2 hours from the time I spoke to her but I still had not received an email from her, I put the phone down as I did not want to deal with her now.

I had my Hyundai i10 delivered on 30.7.25. by Craig Anderson (who was superb from start to finish), the previous day I had a phone call from Thurlow Nunn asking me about my experience with my purchase and giving a rating from out of 10, I gave Bethany Marshall Lowestoft 0 out of 10 and as far as I’m concerned she should not be selling cars as she is the worst Sales rep I have ever dealt with and Craig Anderson Norwich was given 10 out of 10 because of his efficiency.

I also received 2 voicemail messages from Gary Hedge from Hyundai Lowestoft stating he wanted to rectify matters I phoned him back on 30.7.25. he said he wanted to sort the matter out but I told him my car had been delivered from Norwich that day and Bethany Marshall was absolutely awful he came up with the excuse that she probably was dealing with personal issues when she spoke to me what an absolutely ridiculous and poor excuse for her uselessness if that was the case for over a week perhaps the management should have recognized she should not have been at work or put her into another role. She either wanted to sell me a car or not.

I hope anyone who goes to Lings in the future if they have to deal with Bethany Marshall hopefully she’s not having any PERSONAL ISSUES in her life.

Awful terrible avoid at all costs

Do no use or trust this company my wife bought from these and has had problems after problems.the customer service after sales is appalling.even contacted the managing director who couldn't give a toss.
This has affected my wifes mental health big time,all over their terrible treatment of her

A very disappointing experience

As an MG driver and Thurlow Nunn , Kings Lynn being my local Main dealer, i always book my car in and have my servicing done with them. I have never had an issue with their service department, my bad experience lies with the sales team.
I am a company car driver and so with my new car on the horizon I booked in a test drive for the MG IM6 with Thurlow Nunn, Kings Lynn.
30 minutes before the test drive was due I had a phone call from their sales team enquiring how was i purchasing the car and what model. When I said I was a company car driver, they cancelled the test drive and said it was not their policy to allow company car test drives and I would need to arrange through my lease company. I explained the lease company does not have cars to test and that surely as a representative of a Global brand like MG, they should be providing access to potential customers no matter how the vehicle is purchased.
Its like walking into DFS and being told you cannot sit on any settee's unless you are buying them from their branch. This sort of business model is insane and extremely short sited giving off a "We only care about commission" vibe.
I contact another dealer in Wisbech called WH Brand and they told me it is not an MG policy, its a dealer policy. They said as a company car driver I am free to book a test drive of any of their vehicles and they provide the same level of service regardless of if they think it will result in a sale or not.
Based on todays experience if nothing else, Thurlow Nunn have lost my service business now and Brands have gained it.
For what claims to be a Family run business they are sadly driven by profit and not by customer service.
