You’ll learn how to craft meaningful ceremonies, support clients with care and deliver with clarity and confidence. After your 5‑day residential course, a series of supported modules guides you to full NOCN Level 3 or Level 4 qualification. Your journey doesn’t end when training finishes. Through membership, CPD, mentoring, community support and professional indemnity insurance, ICPC provides long‑term guidance and a professional home for your celebrant practice.

The fact it was residential made such a difference to the immersive learning
I attended the ICPC residential week in 2025. Being in the NHS for over 20 years and attending multiple training sessions in person and online my expectations were very low. However, I can honestly say this week changed my life career wise. It is the best training I have ever attended with the trainers both friendly, approachable and extremely knowledgeable. This setting is equal to that of a retreat and please don't go expecting to loose weight as the food is outstanding with homemade biscuits, cake and desserts multiple times every day. I can away feeling invigorated, renewed and equipped to commence my new celebrant business which is a good job really as I had my first funeral service booked for the following Friday. Without this course there is no way I would have been prepared but the week gave me the tools and the confidence I needed to deliver it without a problem. There is no way any online training could have been as in depth and meaningful as the week at High Trenhouse was. Over 70 funeral services later I still refer back to the excellent training I received and the resources I gathered during the week.
