I'm leasing a car for the first time and live in London so I'm worried about theft and damage, and the risks of my main insurance not covering all costs and leaving me with a big repair bill at the end of my lease, so I signed up for the full package of wheel cover, cosmetic cover and GAP insurance. It's an expensive outlay at the start of a lease but I know I'll get nails in my tyres or scrapes from other cars in the supermarket carpark, so it's reassuring to know that this is all paid for when I have to hand back the car. The purchase process was straightforward and the online chat was a real person, quick and helpful. I had to submit photos of the car before the cosmetic insurance could take effect, but received my confirmation within minutes.

Needed GAP Insurance for a new leased EV. Looked on the comparison websites and Tidy alloys gave me everything I needed at a very competitive price. Spoke to Ben who set up the 2 year policy. Very straightforward. He explained the other protection policies they offer but there was no hard sell which gives me time to make a decision at my own pace.

It was very easy to do. However I didn’t manage to pay on line.

I unfortunately had 2 punctures in the space of 1 week. The service I received in processing both claims was seamless and highly professional. A special mention to Ben for dealing with both claims so promptly and making the process so easy.
