I did the level 1 Makaton workshop. It's a full day of learning but it went by so quickly because everyone was really engaged in it. All the resources sent out promptly and the course was a delivered at a good pace and I got a lot out of it. Definitely glad I booked and will look to do the level 2 when I get a chance.

My Tutor learning plans were tailored to suit my needs, and her masterings of signing were insightful.

As someone completely new to Makaton, I found the workshop a wonderful and enriching learning experience. It was amazing to see how much we could learn in just one day and how Makaton can make communication more accessible, meaningful and inclusive.

Natasha was fantastic at introducing Makaton and clearly explaining how signs can be used alongside communication in early years settings. I had previously completed some Makaton training many years ago, so it was lovely to revisit what I had learned and explore a wider range of signs that I can now use with the children in my setting. Could not recommend Tasha highly enough.
This was a really good introduction to Makaton. We learned so many signs over two morning worshops , with a tutor who was very professional, but also put everyone at ease and helped us all to relax and learn together in a fun, unthreatening environment.

I completed my Level 3 training with Tasha on 19th September. The day flew by and it was all down to her. She made everyone feel welcome and comfortable and was very supportive. Tasha is a truly fantastic tutor, her personal experiences of being a SEN mum shine through and you can see her passion throughout. Tasha is naturally very kind and never made you feel bad if you didn’t get the signs straight away. She was very knowledgable in everything surrounding Makaton and the stories behind some of the signs. She also managed to keep the course engaging throughout which was especially good for me. I will definitely be doing Level 2 with Tasha. Thank you!!!

Who knew a full day of online training could whizz by so quickly?!

I completed the Makaton Level 1 course with Tasha and genuinely loved it. Tasha was an absolutely fantastic tutor – welcoming, enthusiastic and encouraging from the very beginning. She made the whole day incredibly engaging and enjoyable.

She took the time to make sure everyone understood and felt confident before moving on, and was always more than happy to repeat or demonstrate something again when needed. Her enthusiasm was infectious – it would have been impossible to finish the day without feeling motivated and excited to put what we had learned into practice.

I came away feeling far confident and ready to unleash my Makaton on the world! In fact, I enjoyed Level 1 so much that I’ve already signed up for Level 2 with Tasha – which probably says it all!

I really enjoyed completing the Level 1 Makaton course this weekend. The whole session was really fun, engaging and informative, and I came away feeling like I’d learnt so much.

Tasha was a fantastic tutor, she was incredibly engaging, friendly and made the whole session enjoyable. She created such a relaxed atmosphere, which made it really easy to get involved and have a go, while still making sure we covered everything we needed to learn.

I would definitely recommend this course to anyone interested in learning Makaton. It was a brilliant experience and I’m really looking forward to putting what I’ve learnt into practice and continuing with my Makaton journey! We have already booked level 2

I had a fantastic time on Tasha’s course for Level 1. I've come away feeling so much more confident about Makaton and putting it into practice next time I see the young people at my theatre groups.

I had my Makaton learning disability training with Tasha, and I learned so much from her. I really enjoyed the Makaton signing sessions because she made them interesting, enjoyable, and never boring. English is my second language, but Tasha speaks very clearly, and I can fully understand her English and accent. She is a wonderful teacher, and I really loved learning with her.
