Don't use this company bought a £500…

Don't use this company bought a £500 compressor off them that broke and leaked air within 3 days they wanted me to. Repair it myself then sent me a new part to wrong address what a joke now been without a compressor for a week

Make your own mind up

I bought a wolf jet wash from toolstogo as my old one packed in half way through a driveway clean, upon opening it, it had obviously been out of its packaging before, switch hanging off, picture taken, dent on the top, contacted them and they offered me a massive discount of £15 I desperate for it as I needed to finish the customers drive, they also said they would send a replacement switch that had fallen off completely by now, switch came wrong wiring loom, contacted again, another switch sent, this one didn't fit (to big) took pictures & video, then one of the fasteners holding the handle on snapped, I had had enough by now and asked to return it, reading other feedback since, I should have been ready for the next bit, they said the switch fit?? I fit it and it just fell straight back out when I did it and took pictures & even a video, the best was to come, they said I had taken the spark plug out and threaded it putting it back in and had to re tap it 🥱🥱 ( who retaps a £3 sparkplug?) I said this was an absolute fabrication as it was never touched, it was then upgraded to me damaging the spark plug and threaded the head at the same time, never touched either, just more proof in my humble opinion that it wasn't new upon delivery, I disputed this completely and asked for a refund, they can back with they couldn't as I had NOW DAMAGED the hose 🥱 and my options now were a £150 refund for a £280 machine or returned and they wasn't even going to charge me for the phantom repairs 😲 I had bought a new from a decent company due to all this messing, but now have this one back also due to no matter what proof I sent or pictures they wouldn't admit it wasn't new and all the phantom damage, I just got can't do anything but Give you £150 or return it over and over again, please take this review and others who have suffered the same service and buy from a decent company.

1 Star – False Claims, Unfair Charges, and Appalling Customer Service

I am extremely disappointed with Tools to Go. After returning a faulty lawn mower, my sister and our father went to great lengths to fully clean, drain, and package it properly over the course of two days before sending it back exactly as instructed. Despite this, the company refused to issue a full refund, claiming it was “not cleaned” when received.

I know this to be untrue. The lawn mower was spotless and completely drained. To make matters worse, they also charged a carriage fee, claiming “no fault was found” — even though I personally witnessed the mower cutting unevenly and billowing black smoke during use.

It’s unacceptable for a company to dismiss genuine faults and then invent excuses to retain customers’ money. This experience shows a complete lack of honesty, integrity, and accountability.

I would strongly advise anyone thinking of buying from Tools to Go to look elsewhere, if your item has a problem, you’ll likely be blamed and charged for their mistakes.

Bought a Wolf WPG4500i generator from…ToolsToGo

Bought a Wolf WPG4500i generator from ToolsToGo, 14 May 24.
Since that fateful day it has been nothing but trouble. The unit, it is clear, is a cheap Chinese copy of the Honda GX200, and has shown the following faults:
- exhaust and top heatshields mounting lugs sheared off, producing loose shield plates and consequent rattling that is louder than the engine.
- exhaust valve rocker arm PUNCTURED by top of associated pushrod. (Improper heat treatment at manufacture)
- very poor quality spark plug supplied and fitted, proved unreliable.
- very difficult to start.

All this within 8 months of purchase.
The helpline given in the user manual connects the caller to an individual who is rude and frankly clueless in matters of faultfinding. After a lifetime in aircraft engineering, including my final ten years as a Quality Manager in an major aircraft manufacture factory, I do not appreciate being told that the reported snag is, at the outset, my fault.
All these faults I've had corrected at a trusted local small engine servicing firm.
Recommendation: DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON ANYTHING WITH 'WOLF' WRITTEN ON IT, AND CERTAINLY NOT FROM TOOLSTOGO.
Utterly useless product, from a second rate supplier.

Wolf fox lawnmower

Brought a wolf fox lawnmower for homedelivery on the Saturday for next day delivery (know Sunday doesn't count) it turned up Tuesday. Then when we opened the box the whole front wheel was buckled bent like a banana would show pics if it let me. The process of a return was ridiculous called b and q who said it was a third party seller tools to go DO NOT USE TOOLS TO GO fair play the lovely guy at the end of the phone gave me some options swap ( where I had to wait to have item returned first before new item sent out) or refund. We went for refund as if it damaged that easily we didn't want it. We arranged for next day pick up on the Wednesday night with the nice guy. We'll Thursday comes and the delivery company called saying they couldn't do pick up delivery that day because he didn't arrange it till after half 5 so I had to have a Friday delivery pick up. Delivery company amazing 👏 BTW. I then called as he assured us when item was signed for it would be refunded Friday evening. He said they has to wait to see broke item they sent me before I could get refund. We got a refund on the Wednesday 11 days after ordering this item. By this stage my grass is like something from "were going on a bear hunt" so we buy another lawnmower from toolstation ready to pick up within 5 mins somewhere with a store if you have problems for instant refund on the Saturday. They were amazing put lawnmower in the car ect. Do not buy from tools to go if your not in a financial position to buy two items at once while you wait for a refund. Toolstation was amazing not tools to go. Customer service was good 👍 which is why it gets 1 star but to have to buy a second lawnmower waiting on the refund was silly. If I have a problem with a amazon item as soon as postoffice have it I have an instant refund within 2 hours to replace item so it can be done.

Not Honouring warrantee

Puchased a pressure washer last year with 2 years warrantee, when i called them because a part failed they said they can't honour the warrantee because the company was sold to someone else
