I'm a watch person and have bought leather straps from several different makers. Since I bought my first strap from Toshi Straps I've bought all of my leather straps from here. I've ordered about 10 straps over the past few years. They look great and I've gotten many, many compliments about them.

The straps are handmade and highly customizable. From types of leather, color, stitching, types of buckles, width, length- you can choose something that is really special and unique for you.

I've bought four for my Panerai Luminor but others have been for more refined and traditional-looking Seiko's and a Zenith. The quality of the leather, the hardware, and the straps all together have been stellar. I've found the descriptions of the leathers to be spot-on.

Communication has been really good. Straps have been prepared and shipped timely, and with good communication. They are handmade and being shipped from the UK to me in the US. So things like holidays and international shipping will impact how long it's taken me to receive them. But communication from order receipt to telling me they've shipped and the tracking number has been good. As I've had questions and asked for recommendations responses have been great.

If you are a watch person or just have a watch that's special to you and you're looking for a leather strap, I'd strongly recommend considering Toshi straps.

As was expected Rich was an absolute pleasure to deal with, helping to make sure I ordered the correct length for achieving my preferred fit, and his attention to detail is second to none.

The strap arrived bang on time, fitted both the watch and my wrist perfectly, and the quality of the leather, and the quality of manufacture was as usual right out of the top drawer.

I think Rich's straps are absolutely first class. I've been buying them for more than 10 years. Beautiful colours and stitching options. If you want an artisinal, chunky, unique strap for a big chunky watch these are for you! If you want a dainty, tapering croc/gator for your dress watch then maybe not so much. I think these work best on U-Boat, Panerai, Breitling, chunky boutique divers, etc. It takes a bold watch to stand up to these beasts! Don't expect delicate, they are well finished and luxurious but rustic and handmade. I'm obsessed with them! I have way too many!

First class product, excellent customer service, highly recommended. I wanted a leather strap for my 45mm Planet Ocean, a big nail needs a big hammer. The Toshi Vintage Black leather with black stitching is the strap that the large Planet Ocean deserves. I give the highest recommendation for Rich's communication, timeline to delivery and high quality product. Buying lesser quality products is a false economy. If you have a watch you love, get yourself a Toshi strap.

I got a beautiful goat skin Toshi strap today. Wonderfully soft leather, excellent craftsmanship, arrived early. Good communication too.

I've ordered three straps from Toshi Straps and I've been thrilled with the results every time. They look stunning, and the craftsmanship shows.

I have purchased 5 straps from Toshi, so felt that a review was in order. I cannot fault Rich's craftsmanship and combined with a superb range of hides his straps are absolutely outstanding. So far I have sampled buffalo, horween, kudu, nubuck, and standard veg tanned leather. All are extremely comfortable and with a bit of advice, the perfect fit. All of the straps that I ordered arrived when expected and communications throughout were excellent. Cannot recommend highly enough and it's great to have a UK based strap maker now that "the thing that shall not be named" has made EU purchasing difficult. Wouldn't go anywhere else these days. I found Toshi Straps through a colleague and what a recommendation it was. Rich is totally on the ball and keeps you informed all the way from first placing the order to receipt of delivery. I went for Tangerine Dream and I certainly wasn't disappointed. It was better than the original Panerai strap that I had.

Responsive customer service from the purchase phase to the delivery. Had some issues with my credit card company and Rich offered alternative order and payment method. When international mailing was an issue due COVID lockdown, I was duly kept posted of the developments.

High quality handmade product and great customer service. I have 2 of these straps and both are great quality and comfortable to wear. The website is very clear when ordering but if in doubt you can email Rich direct with any questions, he is always quick in coming back to you. Quick turnaround time well within what was stated. I recently purchased a strap for a watch of mine from Toshi-Straps. The entire experience was relaxing and you are kept informed of what is happening and the timelines. I received an email informing me that the straps were ready and when they were posted. I received the straps late but this was as a result of delays at Royal Mail. The straps are fantastic and I am truly elated with my purchase. There is real quality there, the straps fit the watch perfectly and is a wonderful fit on the arm. I have no qualms about referring Toshi-Straps at all!

Bought two in three months after spending many months researching and sourcing bespoke leather straps for an Oris Aquis...

The online order process is very straight forward with lots of choice and easy access to info and tips.... Both orders were placed with an expected four week eta.. and both orders were turned around in half the time. Rich is very helpful and you can tell how much he cares about his customers and the product.

I love the finished product, the straps look and feel great and are everything I was looking for. Definitely recommend!

Ordered two bespoke leather watch straps for a Tudor Heritage Black Bay.
Richard provided great guidance throughout the ordering process from advising on the strap size in relation to my wrist measurements coupled to the Black Bays dimensions.

I wanted a top quality strap for my tudor black bay and that's what I got! I had looked on the site and was undecided between 2 colours, I emailed Rich, told him which watch it was going on and asked for his opinion.
He suggested the "gunpowder" so I went with that.
I was kept updated from the off and the strap arrived earlier than planned. Rich is clearly passionate about his work and the quality is outstanding. I cannot recommend these straps enough.

Before I start I would urge you to read the ridiculous comment/review from an awkward customer that has wrongly lowered Rich from Toshi's 5 star review! Utter nonsense and some people really are impossible to deal with. Anyway onto my review...

After purchasing MANY straps over the years, looking for that perfect combination of colour, texture and comfort, I've finally found a favourite strap for my Panerai. It makes you realise that quality over quantity is so important.

I was looking for a strap to match my redwing boots and belt. I ordered a "Tempest" from Rich with natural stitching, it's a beautiful subtle burgundy brown, and smells fantastic. It really needed very little wearing before it started to soften up and become extremely comfortable. The stitching, length and hole positions are all spot on. There's hundreds of thousands of "hand made" straps on ebay and etsy which are clearly mass produced and bad quality tough leather (trust me I've bought a few), and this really is no comparison.
Having so many size, colour and buckle options, it really does mean your getting a truly unique strap.
With excellent contact from Rich straight after my purchase, and then again after receiving my strap, it fills you with confidence knowing that a real honest person has made your custom accessory piece.

Great value for money knowing what work goes into making them, and you can wear with pride knowing your sporting the best out there.

I recently bought a citizen eco drive Star Wars with a leather strap. On delivery I found the strap to be poorly made and far too short, so over Christmas I set out to find something better. The watch was bought to remember my dad who passed away in October, he took me to see Star Wars on my 8th birthday so this seemed appropriate. During my search for a bespoke strap I came across Toshi Straps.The website was beautifully designed, simple and clean but with obvious attention to detail. I had questions which Rich answered personally and quickly and I soon decided to place an order. The only difficulty encountered was deciding on the leather and stitching. Expecting a delivery in three weeks I was delighted to receive the strap in just a few days & it is as beautiful as I had hoped and expected it to be. I’ve been buying from Toshi for a while now, it’s saved me a fortune giving my timepieces a new look rather than buying more expensive watches. The workmanship is top quality as is the leather Rich makes them with, it’s great to find a true artisan who is passionate about what he does.
