I have used this car park every day for…

I have used this car park every day for approximately two years and also adhoc when I go on holiday. I take time before I leave my car each morning to pay on the app for my parking.. I received two parking tickets for 27th and 28th March stating I had not paid. I am totally at a loss as to why the parking on both days did not it register.. I would not deliberately not pay for my parking and feel there must have been a fault with the app or Internet.. I did try to appeal this but was sent back pictures of my car arriving and leaving the car park along with pictures of signage how to pay for your parking. This was not helpful at all along with the other "four" final reminders I recieved 5 days after the first parking tickets.. (all on the same day). I actually found this very stressful and felt very anxious about getting further tickets as I was under the impression I had paid for the two days in question... I have tonight paid the £120 and I will NOT be using your facilities again.. I am sure there must have been an issue with the APP.. total car parks are not interested at all. Plenty other car parks in the same area .. total carparks have lost my loyally now .

This company is a complete scam that…

This company is a complete scam that refuses to take responsibility for their own system failures while aggressively pushing unfair fines onto customers.

I attempted to pay a parking charge, but their system kept giving me an external error despite trying on multiple devices, networks, and even different days. Instead of acknowledging this clear issue, they ignored my concerns, blamed me, and conveniently claimed their system was working perfectly because "thousands of other customers" managed to pay. That is not how accountability works.

When I tried to reason with them professionally and even offered to provide proof of the issue, they outright refused to acknowledge my experience, ignored my emails, and told me they won’t be responding anymore. Instead of looking into a legitimate problem, they have the audacity to say they will prove in court that their system had no issues—as if that somehow makes my experience invalid.

Their so-called "customer service" is nothing but robotic responses, excuses, and gaslighting. They escalated the charge to debt collectors despite my repeated attempts to pay, making it clear they care more about squeezing money out of people than actually running a fair and responsible business.

⚠️ AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! ⚠️ If you ever run into a problem with their shady system, don't expect any help—just expect debt collection threats and a complete refusal to listen.

This is one of the worst parking companies I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. A total disgrace.

Do not use!

Do not use! They will scam you! I was forced to pay a £100 fine for trying to pay to park. Their systems didn't work but I was ‘at fault’ for persevering to pay before leaving. I stayed a total of 16 minutes, in which the whole time I was trying to pay, before having to find an alternative car park. Awful company!

This is company is a scam and is created to scam customers, the car park Market Square, 8078 is misleading when you have to pay for the extra time, you get 2 hours free then pay via the App which doesn't inform you about the 2 hours free parking included in the hours, so this is misleading services provided by these and the Parkonomy app, I am making a formal complaint to these and trading standards, this company is a SCAM company!!! charged £100 in a car park with 2 cars into on a Sunday, where I paid over £5 extra parking for 4 hours extra, now its the case there say the extra 4 hours I paid for all includes the free 2 hours, then how is this free if I have paid for extra hours, misleading boards and unfair business practices to scam people, !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Small claims case coming your way!!!

Disgusting scammers

A massive scam. I won my appeal thankfully, as they was trying to say I overstayed. They don't make it easy so you struggle to appeal it. I shall ensure I never ever park in one of there carparks for the remainder of my life though, was a lot of stress I didn't need.

Isca Place, Exeter - to avoid - if possible

I am a driver for a local charity in Tiverton. I tried to park and pay in what is a big mess of a car-park in Isca Place, Queen Street, Exeter. The only machine I could find did not function - so I had a coffee - went back to retrieve the car 30 minutes later - and have now received a PCN demand for £100 or £60 if I pay up quickly. I appealed and got nowhere - as usual. The 'proof' was a photo of my car going up and down outside the car-park with a 30 minute gap between photos. These car park operators are very bad and greedy for your money so what is the incentive to fix machines that don't always function etc. No incentive at all. They probably make more money fining people. Exeter is bad enough for parking without these people.

I’d rate is a 0 but you can’t.
Parked for 3 hours paid the ticket got proof via bank and still have car ticket and was sent a notice of £100 fine. Try to appeal and you can’t email call or talk to anyone. They send bailiff letters to threaten you for not paying £100.
So not only do they want £100 they had £4.10 so £104.10 for 3 hours parking absolute scammers!!! Disgusting.

Scammers

Absolute scams! We was parked in an area for free parking for an hour then got a ticket for the time after, because we didn't get a ticket during the free period, we are now being charged, you can appeal, and then they'll do nothing about the appeal, just tell you to go through another company to sort it out. They incurred no loss from us but now being fined £170. Also, no surprise but no phone to speak to an actual person as they do not discuss PCN on the phone, how a company can operate like that is beyond me and clearly only after people's money without reviewing things with consideration.

RIP OFF SCAMMERS!

I parked at gorleston car park as I had an appointment I had to attend to. It states 1 hour free parking, I knew I’d be more than an hour and paid for an extra 2, so my thinking 3 hours in total. I was 2 1/2 hours. I’ve now had a fine sent through, I kept my ticket as proof, I even had to put my reg in that machine, they said I have no valid ticket! And, the free hour doesn’t count! Even though I paid for two, they said I lost the free hour as I paid for a ticket!! How does that work!! Absolute rip off company, and obviously no appeals get passed as mine was instantly rejected. I sent a picture of my ticket!

Served an incorrect Parking Notice and Now Total Car Parks Avoiding Contact.

I received a Parking Charge Notice for using Balbirnie House Hotel Car Park on 12 February. Their cameras photographed the car entering and leaving ground of the hotel )not their car parks). I passed through the grounds on a public road on the way to Balbirnie Golf Club and parked my car in the Golf Club car park as normal. Clearly their camera on the exit point to hotel grounds was not working correctly. Despite the fact that the golf club contacted then about two weeks ago as the same this happened to 5 other members who did not use the hotel car parks we have not received any response despite numerous attempts to contact them. Their service is shocking and its questionable whether there cameras are in fact legal.

Don't go anywhere near this company if you want to use a professional, customer focussed company to manage your car parks

Avoid completely

Avoid completely. Used free 2 hours and then paid and displayed as signage but still rejected appeal with payment proof & £160 fine issued to me with & handed to dcbl. Total car parks reply email I have had rejecting the appeal is even contradictory to their signage instructions! Avoid at all (literal) cost! I know a lot of people won’t use the car park at Burghley Bourne any longer.

Total rip off scamming company

Total rip off scamming company, we had our car parked 10 mins over the time on their Gorleston car park and would of paid the fine if we would of received a notice that was never sent along with the reminder ? (should be signed for post) funny how we received a letter from Dept Recovery Plus on their behalf for now £170.00 must be in on the scam together, but don't seem to have any choice but to pay this. total rip of if you go to dept recovery plus trustpilot on the web there are a lot of people getting ripped off this way to. be aware avoid if possible....

Total car parks scam

Came home from holiday to this crap saying I now owe a hundred. Emailed them got a response saying I was in the car park from 10.47 to 14.09 then they said I paid from 12.55 to 14.55, well I paid straight away when I got there also said I've just come back from holiday which has been ignored , well told them to poke it up there ar.. I ain't paying this is in Gorleston Norfolk
