MyDeposits has moved to a new home with Total Property. No Proper detailed instructions how to use system and over an hour's wait to do an online chat which I doubt will be any help at all. How to register my tenants deposit is the biggest question and I am under a time constraint to do so!

It couldn’t be any worse. We had to take our deposit to a resolution case (granted not Total Property’s fault). They then took the full 7 days just to assign a case assessor. After the full 21 days it has now been passed to an adjudicator (which we all already know they will take as long as possible for). We moved out at the end of June. It’s now the middle/end of September and we are still waiting having replied/responded to everything as quick as possible.

The deposit is also sent to the ‘lead tenant’ only which we didn’t even choose. So that’s always great with a house share.

Customer service whether at 6am or 1pm or midnight, I’m always in a queue of around 70+ people with an apparent wait that lasts 20 mins but is always well over an hour +. Even when you are connected it still seems to take 5 mins between each of their responses.

As stated at the beginning, it couldn’t be any worse.

Awful company to deal with. Tenancy ended and landlord authorised repayment of deposit. Still waiting 10days on, keep getting fobbed off with issues with there system.
Have waited on average 2½-3hs 3 times in a queue for their online chat. Customer service is none existent.
No one should use this service.

Took 2 hours to get someone in live chat . Website is totally misleading and hard to do the basic tasks . Will never use again following my deposits migration .

Website takes ages to load, very difficult to navigate, online chat service very poor - I was no 72 in queue to be answered in 42 mins. No phone number available. Almost impossible to use.The old website was by far the better system.

I used to use My Desposits for many years via the NRLA, quick and easy to register a deposit and get it protected. The move to tTotal Ptoperty is a complete abortion, dont waste your time trying to figure out this college kid mess of a website, I spent an hour trying to protect one deposit and am giving up. I work in IT.
