Thank you very much for your review. We take all reviews seriously, especially the negative ones, and always strive to improve based on our past mistakes. We believe in the 'customer is always right' policy. We would like to address a few points mentioned in your complaint.
In Jorhat, it is not correct to say that you were left alone at the airport. Our representative was present at the Jorhat airport, and you had both his number and the number of our manager who was handling your tour. When all the passengers left the airport, and we were unable to locate you, we immediately contacted the Assam Bengal Navigation Manager, who confirmed that you were with them on their bus. We tried to speak with you on the phone, but you returned the phone to the manager.
In Kolkata, our car waited for you for 6 hours, but you reached the hotel yourself despite having all the numbers. When you reached the hotel, you contacted our director regarding the situation, and despite this, he assured you a refund for what you had paid. When you mentioned you were hungry, he offered you dinner not as compensation but as a gesture of goodwill. Please refer to the attachment at the end of this reply for the correspondence between you and him. We are not denying you a refund for what you paid at that time and even now.
Regarding hotels: All the hotels booked for your tour were approved by you, and as you were traveling alone, single rooms were booked for your tour. When you did not like the room in Kolkata, the hotel contacted us, and upon our approval, they changed your room.
All flights were booked by you, and nowadays flight timings change frequently, so it was our responsibility to cross-check your flight details with you before arranging transport to the airport. This is a common practice of the company and does not mean we did not have your flight details.
As you are a frequent traveler to India and mentioned contacting your chosen company directly, it indicates that all the arrangements we made for you were as per your preferences (hotels, transporters, and safaris), and you had all the contact numbers.
Regarding safaris, although it is not within our control, we always try to book them according to the client’s preferences. For safaris in Kanha, it was booked as per your preference (please see the attachment at the end of this message), and for Bandhavgarh, it was booked as per the itinerary.
Regarding overcharging, as you were traveling alone and opted for exclusive safaris, you took 24 exclusive safaris across 3 national parks, along with hotels providing all meals and transportation.
We have replied to provide our perspective on the events. We are still willing to refund you the amount you paid for your transport.
