The best private tour guide in Phuket
Jo organized two unforgettable days for us in Phuket.
We often use private tour guides and are quite spoiled by good service, but Jo exceeded all expectations! She is a rare professional: excellent value for money, very responsible, and punctual.
Jo picked us up from the cruise port in a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan (complete with cold wet towels and bottled water). We drove to the pier where a boat was waiting for us (two reliable engines and a crew of three). We spent the whole day exploring the beaches of Phi Phi.
Jo’s team set up a table for us at a beachside restaurant and offered fresh fruit both on the boat and at the beaches. Since I tend to get seasick, Jo went above and beyond—she adjusted the stops according to how I felt!
She even managed to schedule our visit to Maya Bay at a time when there were hardly any people—which is incredible, considering that place is usually packed with tourists!
In the evening, we enjoyed the amazing Siam Niramit show with dinner.
The next morning, Jo took us around Old Phuket Town, stopping at the Big Buddha viewpoint and Kata Beach (a great recommendation from Jo!). Later, she picked us up from the beach in the same cool minivan, where we were able to leave our belongings safely.
If you're on a cruise with an overnight stay, it’s a great idea not to return to the ship for the night. Since Phuket is a tender port, transferring back and forth takes a lot of time and energy. A great 4-star hotel near the boat pier and Old Town will only cost around €70–80 with breakfast included.
Jo is smart, witty, and highly professional. Her team offers all kinds of tours—from small groups to VIP experiences for two. They are incredibly flexible!
Thank you, Tours with Jo!
