We bought 3 towers (Family Pack) WITH THE EXTENSION KIT, for $2K+ in February/Mar 2025, my Wife's additional surprise Xmas gift to help me feed my fellow disabled Veterans and the low
income families in the community. I was
prepared to make my own towers from PVC. After the threat of frost had past I assembled my first one today 30 April 2025. Turned it on, and the water would not reach the top. The pump they sent with the kit was too small and Noone explained during the initial call you needed to upgrade the pump.
Once we called, we were informed we had to spend $200 on upgraded pumps. We requested a supervisor's. She said buy 3 new pumps or pay $270 to return the 3 towers. You'd think extension kit would have
required upgraded pump as part of kit. I went to a local plumbing store and purchased everything to build my own Garden to for $93. I will return all 3 Garden Towers. and build 9 more towers for the price of one Tower Garden.. to feed my fellow Veterans and unhoused locals In my community

I love my tower garden so much that I just bought my 2nd one so that I can continuously try to turn over food for my family. The tower is of excellent quality with a wonderful concept of growing healthier options of vegetables. There is a learning curve and there were some challenges that I had to deal with. First I have two extensions on the top which requires the high capacity water pump that I purchased from tower garden because it is very quiet and some water pumps can be loud. Secondly, I tried to use a couple of different types of water for my tank only to realize that distilled water is the best option in order to have your PH and EC in the functional range for plant growth. Or at least it was for us. It has been a challenge for me to start seedlings mainly because I have absolutely no experience in growing anything and wanted immediate results which I am learning patience is a virtue and plants will germinate in their own time. I am trying the baggy paper towel method that I learned on YouTube to help germinate my seeds which has helped with the wait time for several types of seeds, but not all. I personally have found that while I’m growing my seedlings, I am only using 1/4 of the strength of the nutrient solution per gallon of water (5 ml) because they are little and don’t need as much at this point. I did initially purchase seedlings from a couple of companies, and I had an issue with aphids and fungus gnat larvae on them. So I highly recommend from my personal experience that you patiently wait and grow your own seedlings from the start, but that’s a personal preference. I realize that my plants can get infestations too, but bringing in plants from outside sources just increases my chances of pests. I can’t wait to start harvesting from my tower and having healthy vegetables provided for my family. Thank you towergarden!!!! I’m excited to be part of the family. Wish me luck.😊

I received my Tower Garden without the 2 germinating trays that the instructions indicate are within the packaging. I received one. I waited to begin germinating seeds. When I called after several days, they said "Oh we stopped putting in two, we only include one"......I indicated that the instructions indicate 2 are included. Very misleading. She said Oh we intentionally are using up the old instructions.....really? They couldn't provide updated instructions for their so called important customers? This is not good customer service.

They don't do background checking before choosing their partners so as a result some of their partners are transphobic and generally hateful towards the LGBTQ community

Molto costoso e pochissima resa. Chili e chili di plastica acquistati a caro prezzo per finire in cantina. La verdura non cresce più velocemente che in altri contesti e non raggiunge pezzature soddisfacenti. Molto meglio vasi sul davanzale… Delusa!

I purchased Tower Garden in 2021. I was told by sales agent that it will give enough produce for 1 person. It grows faster than soil and in more abundance. My savings from growing the produce will cover my expense for Tower Garden in 1 year. I was told I can use tap water. After I purchased it, the growth of lettuce and all greens was very poor, not enough for 1 person. I was told to use distilled water. It did not work. Then seedlings would not grow. I was told to buy grow lights and heating pad. Then I was told to buy seedlings from an outside vendor which cost $100 every 2 to 3 months, then my balcony was full of insects and larva and worms.. I was told to buy insecticide. My electricity bill increased monthly by $15 a month. Then cost of Rock wool and Mineral Blend. Then the cleaning of the system every 4 to 6 months that I was not told. It takes a whole day to clean and reassemble. The sales agent knew about my fragile health. Yet, I was not informed about this important info. Despite all that, yet seedlings do not grow well. So, I am still buying Lettuce, Kale and Chard from grocery store. An expensive hobby of $1000 per year for some without any results. A total waste of time specially because it is not my hobby.. Misleading people for money is sinful. In addition, I changed seeds, bought a filtration system etc. Even on youtube their video says, all expenses will bring return by healthier produce.. I just want consumers to know the truth. 1 Tower Garden is not enough for 1 person. Expensive and a lot of work and it may not work for you. Be ready to explore otherwise you will regret it like me.
