Loan was made through MsKelley Furniture, this is a 36-month interest free loan.
Now that I read the reviews, no problems occur before getting money but afterwards. This is my experience of something happening beyond your control and was well publicized.
Government shutdown (furlough/employment termination) happens; I receive a call every day for payment even after I explained the situation. Apparently, it was partially annotated in my file keep in mind this was after being one day late (21st) in October. Then every day after that date in October and November until December. I was fired with no pay.
I learnt from the unprofessional/rude Tower Loan manager that headquarters or Mississippi locations did not have any assistance for government employees. Along with my 36-month interest free loan obtained through the furniture company because I missed payment in October and November the lending company has elected to impose interest from day one of the loan on my balance.
Moreover, as of today, I haven't received any written notification stating that interest has been added to my loan NOR a monthly statements reflecting such action and my balance.
Now, I’ve chosen to write a letter to the Tower Loan headquarters to inquire about this action and/or the lack of processes.
