I have pensions with three providers two reply with 24 hours to the same request and one Towers Watson on the website states my request is waiting to be allocated. I need the response Now as I am about to retire and want to sort my pension out before the Budget. The last request to get valuation for divorce as requested by the Court took over a month to be allocated and when they did respond they only answered part of required information. This pension has been sitting with them for 50 years and I have only contacted them twice once for Divorce valuation and now for Retirement and the Service is appealing had I have known that earlier I would defitnitely have transferred to another provider as my other two pensions I always get response within 24 hours and they let you know immediately they have received and when they have responded , TW you continually have to check on website as they do not notify

Very unhelpful and poor communication. When I've called them to try to sort things out it costs a fortune

Towers Watson ( TW) administer my Pension. Where do I begin......
Everytime I call them it takes around 10 minutes for them to find my details.
Their recorded message is one of the longest I have ever listened to. It takes about 3 minutes, about 2 minutes of that is talking about what to do if you are a Financial Advisor!! It also states they are extremely busy with a high volume of calls - no wonder. Perhaps they should get some more staff then. They are busy helping everyone else but ME!
They hide behind a 'Help Desk' and offer no help each time I ring, claiming they need to speak to 'the Admin Team' for the simplest of tasks such as a Valuation. If you insist they say they will 'elevate' your case.
You can't speak to anyone they won't put you through. If you are insistent they put you on hold and keep checking if you are still on the line!
Of course they don't ring back, no written communication. I have been denied online access to my Pension for 6 months now due to an 'investigation'. This is now resolved but TW need to 'set up my account' again which is causing more delay. My case is 'unusual' apparently. More delay tactics. Meanwhile I am unable to make online switches. Do I even have a Pension??? 'I can see you have an account' answered the girl on the 'help desk'.
There is no excuse for me to be denied access to my own Pension. My case isn't that unusual. I have done nothing wrong. I am a 58 year old widow who hopes to draw on her Pension one day. TW have caused me stress, grief and frustration.
I hope someone from their team reads this, I can give you names, dates and times of when I have called you.
