The community for trail pursuit is amazing and it’s great to see regular faces at the events. Everything is well organised and a lot of care goes into it! Big shoutout to Ed and the team for consistently pulling together great times that create fantastic memories

This year was the second year I went Trail Pursuit Cornwall and it was a lovely day! The weather was a bit wet but the spirits were up, and the coastal path was absolutely beautiful. I had a really excellent time on the 5k route after not being able to do the half due to my injured ankle - the trail pursuit team were very accommodating to me changing which run I did and I will definitely be back next year!!

SO amazing to be back in St Agnes for another Trail Pursuit Cornwall. I was volunteering this time, first at race registration on the Friday and the sweeping and collecting the flags for the Half Marathon on Saturday and had the most amazing time.
The views along the coastal path never fail to disappoint but what I love most about this event is how inclusive it is. Many runners were on the trails for the first time, and many completing new or longer distances for the first time - lots of smiling happy faces at the finish line! Can’t wait for next year ! :)

I’m sorry Trail Pursuit, I really wanted to like the Cornwall half marathon, but honestly, I thought it was a disaster. The scenery was stunning, of course, but the organisation was terrible.

1 – Safety should be the most important aspect, but unfortunately it was dire. The runners had to go through the same gate as the cars…at the same time! And not once, but twice! There were cars entering and leaving through one gate, which meant traffic was backing up, and runners were trying to get through at the same time. The last 200 metres of a race should be free for people to run quickly to the finish line, not dodge cars! The marshalls were busy on their phones and weren’t even watching/directing traffic when we went through. The race even had to start a minute or two late due to cars coming through the gate!

2 – There were areas where the 10km race and the half marathon merged – usually on very narrow paths. At one point, there were runners from both races going up and down the same path. Disastrous! And as the paths were so narrow, it meant the walkers held up the people wanting to run.

3 – The flags were all red. That’s great, but it meant that there was no differentiation between 10km and half marathon routes. At one point it got a bit confusing and people were not sure which way to go. Even the marshalls seemed confused! Also, and this may not be the fault of Trail Pursuit, but unfortunately a flag was in the wrong place and about 15 or so runners went the wrong way.

4 – The race was sold as having a ‘day festival’ with athlete speakers, food stalls, ice baths, saunas, yoga, surfing and sea swimming. There were no athlete speakers, no surfing and no sea swimming. The food stalls were minimal. The ice bath and sauna experience consisted of two or three ice baths (which you had to pay extra for). The yoga tent was small, cramped and pretty miserable looking. All a bit of an anti-climax really. It looked great in the marketing, but the reality was very different.

5 – There was supposed to be a ‘sports expo’ open at the same time as registration the day before the race. The ‘sports expo’ wasn’t even set up. On Saturday it was set up – all two stalls of it. There was a Dare 2b stall with about 10 garments on it, and a stall for eco laundry powder. Hardly an expo.

6 – Not a big problem as they were so expensive that I wouldn’t have bought one anyway, but the t-shirts were unisex. As an XS female, I feel that unisex t-shirts don’t really cater for smaller bodies. It seemed a bit of an oversight on the organiser’s behalf. There were a lot of women at this race. Perhaps you could consider catering for everyone.

Overall, I feel I paid a fairly hefty price tag for a poor event. Needless to say, I won’t be choosing Trail Pursuit in the future. I have done many marathons and ultras with much smaller companies that were better organised and more professional than this one.

Just attended the Cornwall trail pursuit for a second time and really enjoyed the day. The race was well organised and the atmosphere was great. The half marathon did come up short at around 20.50km but you’re here for a time, the scenery and course was stunning (though challenging!)

The TP team were superb and I can’t wait to attend another of their events.

Perfect day from start to finish, signs on the roads leading up to car park, email with info etc sent early so could get prepared & packed! Kept upto date with the weather kit list, and planned great with ice baths & saunas optional after the run, good selection of food stalls and love the yoga that was set up too! Great day and will deffo be booking again next t year! For my first trail run/booked run I am addicted, thankyou so much trail pursuit!! 🫶🏻

When there is no toilet roll in the portaloos 2hrs before race starts it's not a good start.
But then when the race starts through the entrance to the car park, where cars are still arriving for the later races, you KNOW it's not been well organised.
Then, with all the routes merging, up paths that are only just wide enough for one person. When one decides to walk, we ALL walk! Why would you have a 5k fun run on the same path as the half marathon in such pinch points? Awful waste of time and money and i urge anyone keen on actually running to avoid this company. Oh, and no results, the course was only 20.5km so it didn't even register a half, the cars leaving the car park were dodging runners who were trying to finish. Terrible signposting on the routes, the list goes on. I would have fed this back directly, but nobody seemed interested in my feedback. AVOID THIS RACE!!!

My first Trail Pursuit Half Marathon. Amazing route, awesome scenery, wonderful challenge, lovely volunteers, superb organisation. Thinking about next year already!

Trail Pursuit Madeira absolutely exceeded all my expectations and has set the bar so high for group adventures. The range of activities showcased Madeira's beauty perfectly. The highlight truly was the group of people I shared this experience with. I can't recommend Ed and the team more highly. The only negative was that the holiday blues hit so hard when I got home! Cannot wait for the next one!

This company has the worst customer service ever!!! I got injured in May 2024, and was meant to have a trip with them in October 2024. I told them I got surgery in July 2024 (3 months before the rip) and requested they advertise on social media to fill my spot, which I have seen them do before, so that they can process a full refund as I have paid for the trip already. They were slow at replying and not very useful, they never advertised my spot, and they just told me they were moving me to anotehr trip in April 2025... I email in December 2024 saying I wouldn't be back to running by then if they could please refund me!! Over 2 weeks go by without a reply, I send another email, they reply saying I ASKED to be moved to that trip and they will review my case.... It has been another 2 weeks without any response....
All these exchanges were with THE FOUNDER of the company, Ed!!!!!! This is completely ridiculous and they are holding my money, providing zero insight, proving zero flexibility

Couldn’t recommend the Morocco adventure enough. The trip was really well organised with a well thought out itinerary to get the most out of the five days. It was the perfect balance of surfing, trail running, yoga and hiking.

I joined the trip as a solo traveller and felt welcome in the group from the very beginning. If you’re after an active holiday with likeminded people, this is the perfect choice.

Just back from an amazing 5 night stay in Taghazout in Morocco. From start to finish it was full of adventure & fun, I thoroughly enjoyed it. If you’re looking for a trip with like minded people & plenty of activities, this is perfect. Beautiful accommodation, great food, trail running, surfing & yoga, perfectly organised. It’s my second trip with trail pursuit & i’d highly recommend, either as a solo traveller or with friends. Kev our guide was very knowledgeable & helpful. I’m looking forward to the next one!

This was my maiden group activity holiday, and I have no intention of making it my last, in fact, this is how I plan for all my holidays to be from now on! Everything from accommodation to activities was awesome and the people are what made it extra special… can’t recommend any more.

The Norway Expedition was a fantastic trip. The trip was well organised and although we had pretty terrible weather the group was amazing. I made some lovely new friends and had a brilliant experience. I also did the Snowdonia Trail Half Marathon this year and it was extremely enjoyable, it was the perfect challenge for me. I definitely recommend the running races and the trips to anyone interested.

TP Slovenia was an incredible experience! The group was amazing and the places we visit were from another planet on top of staying just next lake Bohinj that is a perfect location as a base

Really the best trip I’ve had in a while! Highly recommend Trail Pursuit to anyone who wants a fully organised, fun adventure with like minded people and full of activities.
I spent 5 days in Slovenia staying beside beautiful Lake Bohinj with an amazing bunch of people and we managed to fit in hiking, swimming, kayaking, canyoning, trail running, zip-lining and cycling. A wonderful mix of being outdoors in stunning surroundings, having fun and challenging/pushing yourself. I also felt the trip was well planned and all activities had adequate guides and equipment to feel safe

Returned from Slovenia, my 3rd Trail Pursuit trip and delighted to share another wonderful experience.

16 people in our group which created a really strong team environment as we tackled challenging trial run, hiking, kayaking and canyoning.

Amazing location with great views, hotel and food and just that great Trail Pursuit vibe that keeps me coming back for more !!

Recently just completed the Slovenia trip with Trail Pursuit and it was an absolute blast. Ed, our guide and facilitator was extremely knowledgeable and thorough in making sure we were prepared and ready for each day. The pace of the trip was blended perfectly with downtime and activities where I never felt rushed or worn down.

If I could give 10 stars I would. For me, it wasn't so much about the activities, it was the community and friendships I made over the week that have followed me back to London. It's a great networking opportunity to meet like minded people. I definitely would be back again.

An Epic Adventure !
This was my third trip with Trail Pursuit and it didn’t fail to deliver once again. This was an incredible way to explore the wild of Norway, and really get into nature : we didn’t see another person for days! Each part of the trip was well planned and thought out, and contrast of getting to explore the mountains AND the fjords blew my mind.
Absolutely loved it !!
