Very awkward guide
We booked 3 tours. Two of them (Rila monastery & Boyana church and Plovdiv with Koprivshtitsa) were absolutely amazing. Thanks to the great drivers Peter and Marin and our great guide Maria Maneva.
She made us love Bulgaria and we learnt a lot about its history and traditions. She knows so much, she even sang a song for us and taught us to dance. We had two great days with Maria as our guide. We really hope her enthusiasm is rewarded.
The third tour was on Monday the 7th of August to Veliko Tarnovo. The city is very nice and the fortress is impressive. Unfortunately we had a man (with long dark hair) with a name Svet as our guide. It seemed that he didn't like his job. When we met him at the cathedral, he didn't even introduce himself. There were only 4 people in our group so we drove in a small car. While driving Svet didn't say a word. NOT A WORD in 3 hours! It was the most awkward experience we have ever had during the tours. He didn't tell a lot about Veliko Tarnovo. In fact, he couldnt answer simple questions (like: what is this statue we stopped to look at?) with more than reading the available signs. He was really more a driver than a guide.
On the way back he finally started to talk, but not about Bulgaria. He talked about his personal ideas and conspiracy theories about Covid, ruining the Chinese economy, etc. It was brought up during the day that the freemasons and illuminati control the world. Awkward, uncomfortable, irritating. Not what we paid for when we wanted to learn about Bulgaria.
It was our first tour in Bulgaria with Traventuria and we were so disappointed that we were going to cancel the other two tours. Luckily we didn't do it. Because the next day Maria saved the image and reputation of Traventuria.

We apologize sincerely for the unpleasant experience you've had on your trip to Veliko Tarnovo and Arbanassi. Veliko Tarnovo is one of the most beautiful and full with history cities in Bulgaria and we are deeply sorry that the guide for the tour has not managed to meet neither your expectations, nor ours as a travel company. Usually we work with guides like Maria, who are proven professionals and we always require and receive several recommendations for a guide before employing it for our trips. August is one of the busiest months for us, thus making it necessary to hire new guides. We have had only good recommendations about Svet and we are extremely surprised to read he has not met ours and the customers expectations. This case has been addressed to the management of the company and we will make sure it never repeats, either with this tour or any other tour of our company. As far as his personal opinions regarding Covid, freeMasons, and more, Traventuria has never expressed or supported any conspiracy theories and ideas. We have always expressed nothing but empathy to all the victims of the severe pandemic flu of Covid 19. We also prioritise safe driving and the safety of our travellers is our number one priority. This sometimes could result in a guide/driver who would speak less during driving. However, we have taken into account all your remarks and we will put more effort into improving as we always strive to provide the best hassle-free experience to our customers. It would be great to have you on tour with us again next time you visit Bulgaria.

Perfect trip, perfect guide and perfect organisation
A nice and interesting trip. The guide was perfect. He told a lot about Bulgarian history, the Rila monastery and the church.

Decent experience
Hello the transfer and the packaging was awesome. The only think was that the year of the ski on the details was 2019 and truly the ski which I received looked 2013.

Thank you very much for your feedback! It is very important to us and we really appreciate it! The year you have seen on the details (2019) is the year we have removed the plastic packaging from the skis and have started renting them out. These skis have been rented out for 2 years since year 2019. In general many ski models stay for years in the manufacturers' storages before being packed and sold. The year we usually have on the details of our skis marks the year we have opened them for exploitation, not the year of the ski model itself.

I ordered 2 pairs of skis, and had them shipped to the U.S. I am writing this after they arrived. The skis are in great condition for being used. The shipping was slow, but there was no shipping damage. I am very pleased with the transaction.

Your system of ordering and delivery lacks what it notes -no text or emails were sent saying how delivery going but order delivered efficiently
Skis are exactly what was expected but are ‘vintage’ to the club my grandson skis with so he’s being gently ridiculed.
They are beautiful so will be put on a wall while I try and find more modern skis size 138 as his second race scrubs. But thank you it’s my fault I’m a novise lacking knowledge re skis.

Thank you for let me have Kneissl Pentron 46 cross country skis for my collection. Excellent vintage skis for good price, but the holes left from previous bindings out of the centre. Why the previous bindings were moved back of the centre line at least 5cm?The packing was very good. Will buy again.

The tracking shows, that your item was received on the 30th day after your purchase, well within the 22-40 days time-frame for the postal service you have chosen (having in mind the Chrismas rush and so many holidays). Have in mind that we are based in Europe and shipping across the Atlantic in Covid times is a lengthy process.
