They will harvest your machine stealing from you.

This place is a total scam PLEASE STAY CLEAR!! This place ripped me off. I brought in a 2015 MacBook Pro due to a non start issue. I had the battery replaced at ubreakifix on dalemabry but since they don’t repair motherboard issues locally, I decided to go to onetruefix. Mind you that ubreakifix has 24/7 cameras while employees work on your devices and is a corporate chain. Well since I told owner at onetruefix that I had a battery installed at ubreakifix and that they don’t do mother board issues, I guess he thought it was an opportunity to do as criminals’ do and take advantage of me. Owner immediately said “oh yea I have same one.” He showed me his MacBook Pro, which was powered on and in working condition. He said my motherboard chipset was damaged and that I needed a new motherboard, so I agreed to have him install one. He said my computer would be done the following day. When I returned to his shop he had my computer and his right next to each other with both of the back cover’s off and upside down. I said “can I take my computer now?” He replied “no yours it not ready yet I need to test your hard drive.” Why would his personal laptop be right next to mine with both covers off? Why would he need to test my hard drive when I did not have a hard drive issue? When I received my computer back all my data was erased. (Mind you that on a Mac, or any computer, with a ssd hard drive, a motherboard issue will NOT’ cause you to loose data as ssd hard drive is where data is stored, completely separate from motherboard.” I also noticed that it only had a 128 gb hard drive while my original hard drive was a 512gb hard drive. I paid $180.00 for repair. Then I noticed that the corner of my Retina display had some scratches on it. When I opened up FaceTime it said “no camera detected.” Not only did he swap out my hard drive, he also swapped out my Retina screen which had nothing to do with the repair. At this point he’s now just simply being a dirt bag thief of a computer repair man. Below will be pics of the screen saying “no camera detected.” (That is why my computer was not ready yet, because he was not done harvesting what he wanted from mine!). Mind you I’ve owned this Mac book from new purchased at the Apple Store and have never had the screen replaced as it is not taken out of my amature home recording studio, that I do as a hobby. Not only am I disgusted and upset that he took my hard drive and data, but that he even took my retina screen; replacing it with a cheap Chinese counterfeit without a camera. This is not the first time he has done something like this as I’m including a past review of someone else he did a similar thing to; when they requested a screen repair. See pics below of Victoria’s review. I’m going to his shop on 07/05/2025 as he has another Mac mini of mine that I wished to have installed a ssd drive onto to make it run faster. I gave it to him before I knew of what he did to my MacBook. I truly hope he comes clean to all he has done to me and If he rectifies it I will reluctantly’ remove this review; however, if he does not, I will continue to post my experience EVERYWHERE’ to make sure people are aware so he NEVER gets a chance to do this to anyone else. Please stay clear of onetruefix and Levent Gulec he saw an opportunity to take advantage of someone and he did!!

Victoria’s review on Google.

Wish I could give -100 stars. THIS PLACE IS A COMPLETE SCAM! I got my MacBook Pro screen replaced and they put in a fake camera that does not work or connect to the computer. This screen internally is not properly connected to the mother board and my entire computer functions do not work. I brought to apple and they said the replacement is so fake that it ruined my entire laptop and unfixable. I called asking for a refund and now they are threatening me telling me lies saying it is it apples part. Clearly it's not. They refuse to give me a refund when they broke my MacBook. The way they talk to me is like a giant scam and so suspicious.

We are sorry to see this same individual continue a campaign of false accusations using different platforms and fake profiles (also seen on Yelp and Google). This review contains multiple misleading and defamatory claims that are completely untrue.

The device in question—a 2015 MacBook Pro (Model MF839LL/A)—originally came with a 128GB SSD. The customer was fully informed about this, signed our repair consent form, and acknowledged our 90-day warranty terms. Despite the device being successfully repaired and returned in working condition, we still issued a full refund to avoid further confrontation after he claimed to be a retired police officer and became aggressive.

All internal parts were documented with photos and logs, and at no point was a screen, SSD, or camera "swapped." His screen already had a corner issue, and the camera was non-functional upon arrival (noted on intake). The suggestion that we replaced a screen with a "fake Chinese version" is absurd and categorically false.

We have offered this individual multiple times to bring the device to an Apple Authorized Service Provider or a neutral third-party technician under supervision. He refused and instead continues to harass our business with false allegations.

We remain committed to honest, ethical repair work and transparent communication. With over 380+ five-star reviews from real, satisfied customers, we encourage new clients to look at our track record of trust and professionalism.
