Thoroughly enjoyed the 2 day class that Derek did - he was engaging, gave examples from his extensive experience. I really liked how he took time to answer all questions that we had, and it felt like a very welcoming environment.

Derek was a great facilitator of the Turbo Scrum Course. He was very knowledgeable and engaging and the course structure was clearly thought out and well organised. The platform on which we completed the activities throughout the two days was really useful, I benefitted from being able to separate zoom and the activities page on separate monitors. Working on a real life case study was useful to relate the knowledge we were learning to a practical example.

I honestly didn't expect to enjoy this course as much as I did. From a developers perspective it was absolutely fascinating to learn more about the project management and how Scrum works on a whole as well as the intricacies of what a Product Owner should be doing within the scrum team

There were some great pieces of advice which I have detailed out and I am putting forward in my current role as I can see the benefits and believe that they will give a massive boost to productivity and success within our business

The delivery of the content was superb. Cannot speak highly enough on this part - I was engaged the whole time, Derek was absolutely fantastic, I felt regularly involved which is especially great considering it was delivered via Zoom. It flowed nicely. Any questions that were asked were answered really well and you felt comfortable to ask any questions that you had

Overall I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is considering learning more about scrum as a whole or who are looking to take on the product owner role

I have already recommended this course to other departments within my business as I believe it will elevate their use of scrum completely, give them the correct tools to perform it properly and overall improve the business

Derek was a capable trainer who did well to deliver the course material remotely without it ever becoming tedious or dry. The interactive course software, along with Derek's own interactions with the trainees were big reasons for this. The breaks were helpful in keeping focus and breaking up the day. Thanks Derek for your sound delivery.

Really good course was informative and a lot was covered in 2 days. Whether you are new to agile and scrum, or have experience and want to know more this is a great course. Only negative was I think this would of bee better in person rather than zoom with the number of people on the course.

Derek involved all trainees in all discussions and I think that was the main point of successfully delivering such a great online course.

Derek, our trainer, lead an excellent course of the last couple of days, something which must be even more challenging over Zoom. He was patient and answered everyone's questions, and I came away confident I could successfully take my exam.

I was a bit unsure how the Certified ScrumMaster course would work online, but I was very impressed. Splitting group into teams for the exercises worked very well through Zoom. Derek Davidson answered lots of questions during the two days and was very thorough and professional through out. I highly recommend this course and Derek.

Derek Davidson presented the course with clarity and the interactive nature of the course made it more interesting and provided an excellent way of learning the Product Owner role. Well put together and an excellent pace of learning over the 2 days. I'd recommend this course especially for those starting out on their journey.

The course was run brilliantly and effectively explained with engaging topics and has given me a far clearer understanding of what Scrum is. I’m really looking forward to implementing my learnings into my day to day and seeing the rewards pay dividends in the effectiveness and efficiency of teams that I work with. Derek was a really great tutor and definitely knows his subject matter. Highly recommend to anyone looking to learn about Scrum, especially if you’re not a Scrum Master like me.

The speech was clear. Derek's voice is very calm which makes it enjoyable to listen for 2 days. The speed was a little fast at times, i.e skipping through slides having to go back because we didn't get the time to read. Also, it requires imperatively to have done the pre-reading for the course, which I did, but this course is for people with a minimum of knowledge on Agile and not for complete beginners. I didn't enjoy the first exercise which I found very unclear, confusing, and chaotic. I lost interest to follow within a few minutes due to that. Otherwise, the content of the course was clear. A lot of contribution for the trainee to keep focus.

This was my first time on Scrum training. I found the course thorough and Derek was very knowledgeable and engaging. The course had 24 people on it and it was done over Zoom. I found this to be ok but for some exercises I think if it was face to face this would have helped, but otherwise will highluy recommend it.

It is a very inspiring course, it is more than what you can learn from paper. It gives me opportunity to examine what actually happens in scrum and I learnt a lot from a workshop which seems simple but very inspiring.
