They are great we have tried a wide variety over the last few months and they would easily pass as homemade! The quality is consistent too.

I’ve been a customer and vocal advocate of Turners Pies for many years now. Over that time I’ve enjoyed pretty well all they have to offer and returned for more. I’ve made the point on many a review that the meat pies are full of good quality prime meat.
I’m shocked and disappointed to report that my last order, which included meat (beef) individual pies was not to the usual standard of Turners Pies! Not sure if this has come about due to a change in personnel, process or supplier, but the contents of the (beef) pies was tough, grisly and frankly inedible. Disappointed a gross understatement, my hope is this was a rouge batch. The other pies in the order (chicken, turkey etc) we’re fine. I really hope my next order for meat pies to Turners is not my last :-(

Just received my pie order. One pie is incorrect, and another looks like it's been dropped. The three in tact pies do look nice, but given the cost, I'm very disappointed. I had planned to use them as a treat for a family birthday tea for my pie loving daughter but given the state of one of the meat pies I'm not sure I shall.

Edited: To be fair while the original order was a bit of a mess, the customer service was good, and the pie we've eaten was very tasty. Someone got back to me very quickly with an apology and offer of a replacement order.

Excellent customer service. I'm a returning customer ever since I saw Turners at the National Pie awards & you can't really say more than that.
They always offer quality products and value for money. To my mind you can't fault the product or the service.

When the pies arrived they are individually box in cardboard boxes. Unfortunately the ice packs used to keep the items chilled had melted and made the boxes wet and some of the pies were a little soggy

Want to give it 5 stars but only allowed 4 for some reason. Ordered the Pies by Post recently during the lockdown and service was fantastic. Beautifully wrapped in their individual boxes, foam and ice-bags to keep everything cold. Wonderful pies, both meat and fruit and the pastry is really light and crisp, don't think I've tasted better anywhere.

I have placed many orders now and we love their pies. Easy to order,and easy to eat. If you want an easy yummy tea then get a pie or two out of the freezer. website is easy too compared to many i get lost in at checkout, wanting passwords etc.... rant.

This is about Turners Pies Shop near where I live...which is our "Go to" place whenever we have a family get together, or just fancy something a bit special for dinner...every single pie or quiche we've had (and there's been many!) has been excellent - a personal favourite is the steak and stilton - the meat and veg used are top quality, ditto the pastry...and the pies are obviously cooked with care. Not to mention their excellent black pudding pork and apple scotch eggs - have been to the shop just as they opened to get these freshly cooked, and boy was it worth it. Excellent service with friendly people in the shop. HIGHLY recommended

" Who ate all the pies?" !! might have to be me !! received my pie fest box yesterday what a delight finding the perfect pie is like finding the perfect pair of jeans, these boys have cracked it , I had the steak and ale it was pie heaven beautiful crust and delicious filling. I love pies and living in Yorkshire we have a few places that do a good pie. These are the new winner I'm taking half of my 12 pies to Whitby for my brother, you have to spread the pie love !! I cant wait to sample the other flavours coupled with Boston new potatoes and garden peas its food heaven. I will definately keep buying them well done to all of you at Turners and you deserve every prize you win ps get your selves to the Great Yorkshire Show next year !!!

Excellent pies, my first was Steak & Stilton. Crammed with meat, tasty pastry and good looking.

Well packaged, in a quilted foil sack, and delivered rapidly via ParcelForce.

A nice touch was the call to say the order was on it’s way.
