As an experienced therapist I was looking for an evidence based approach to hypnotherapy with a cognitive behavioural support. This course answered my needs and more. Rigorously demanding but supportive of individual timelines and ability, the tutoring was of a very high standard. As academic as you needed it to be with a practical and robust exploration of CBT. I highly recommend it to therapists and psychologists who wish to add to their learning and skill set.

I have graduated with the UKCHH and found it a wonderful experience. The amount of information given was phenomenal, and if you need help, there is always someone available to answer. I'm not particularly great with IT and worried at the beginning it may be too difficult, but no it was easy to access the information. At the very beginning there is a video explaining how to use the website, which was very clear and you can go back over anything at any time. The practice sessions were brilliant, as you practice with other students and build up your knowledge and confidence before starting out on your own. Although I have completed the course, I will still be going over the videos and manuals to refresh my memory and gaining CPD points by listening to webinars and practising on their site. I chose the UKCHH as I wanted to study somewhere that was recognised by valid hypnotherapy organisations.

I was able to combine with a full time job by doing the online course, and qualified in 2022. Support throughout and since has been fantastic and I now run my own hypnotherapy practice online. Would definitely recommend.

Taking the Online Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy with UKCHH is the best decision I have ever made. I have done other courses before, but with this one I can honestly say I have come out of it feeling completely equipped and competent to begin my new career. The content is fantastic and the online learning platform is the best I have ever come across. The most amazing part of this course is the flexibility to study at your own pace and complete all assessments in your own time within whatever timeline you choose. I would recommend this course to everyone.

Psychology, Behaviour therapy and Hypnotherapy intersected to provide an enriching and transformative journey. It was a journey full of priceless experiences, a journey that entailed learning a variety of cognitive behavioural and hypnotherapy techniques, a journey of self discovery, personal development, excellent practical skills and ethical practice that provided a robust framework for
treating a variety of psychological issues. On a closing note, I am grateful to my tutors, especially Shelley for
her unweavering support and guidance when times became hard. Gaining the Diploma of Hypno-CBT is a rewarding achievement that equipps me with tools to offer effective and compassionate therapy
and make a meaningful impact on my clients' lives.

The level 5 diploma webinar training provided me with an in-depth understanding of hypnotherapy and hypnosis from a CBT framework. It also provided many opportunities to practice all of the techniques learned during the sessions. The materials, manuals and suggested readings are extensive and I found very useful. Also the instructors are experienced and make the sessions enjoyable and educational. There is also opportunity to join in many available supervised practice sessions, which I found helpful to increase my skill and confidence. Thank you!

I had a great experience with the college and thoroughly enjoyed the course. There is a strong emphasis on staying evidence-based and though it's academically rigorous, this really is a vocational diploma that pushes you to engage practically.

Training and registration in hypnotherapy is really fractured and difficult to navigate, but the college does their best to help get students set up as practitioners. The principal Mark Davis obviously cares deeply about elevating the entire profession (and I think he's succeeding!).

There are a few practical gripes with the quality of some of the lecture materials (not great if you're doing the diploma exclusively online) but this shouldn't deter a motivated student. Really glad I did the course with them, and would recommend it to anyone serious about a career in hypnotherapy.

The course is excellent with an incredible range of material and resources. Rich in theoretical underpinning and delivered by a team of excellent experienced and knowledgable trainers. I did fast track which is not for the faint-hearted. You move at pace and there is so much information to take in - and that's just during the tutored side. In addition there was in depth written assignments that amount to the size of a Masters dissertation. Plus supervised practise must be completed as must a series of live case studies that are also assessed by supervisors.
I met other students who were from different walks of life, like myself, seeking something new. Some have become firm friends and colleagues and we continue to work together to support each other as we set up our new businesses.

Overall I can say it was hard work but to receive the final email notifying me of my pass was the best news.

The only real weakness - at least for me, was the amount of endless PowerPoints presentations, teacher-talk-time and some poor quality training videos. But if you can get past these then it is definitely a worthwhile course.

It was a fantastic journey and a very professional level of learning. All the facilitators are very experienced, all the knowledge is based on scientific and well-researched techniques and tools. It is a great balance between theory and practice. I can recommend everyone to study with UK college of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy.

It always feels like a risk when you start something new.
Fortunately, Mark Davis has assembled an outstanding team of teachers who have made the learning journey an exciting one. The content is excellent (CBT and hypnosis), the webcast lessons are well-paced and plenty of time is given to practise the skills learnt during the course in role plays. I loved the fact that there is always time for all students to reflect on the learning, and the teachers take time to answer all our questions (even if it means they stay behind at the end of the day). My supervisor for the case studies (Sue S.) was a very patient and knowledgeable mentor, I felt very lucky working with her.
The skills I learnt help me in my daily life and I have already started to use them to help others. I very highly recommend the UK College of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy.

I had waited a few years to be in a position to study for the Diploma with the College. Suddenly it was possible with the online Diploma. Amazing support from all at the college and my mentor/tutor. While studying at my own pace, there was ample opportunity to link with fellow students and the online practise sessions were so valuable. It feels as though everyone is doing their best to help students succeed. I valued the inclusivity, academic rigour and accessibility. While it’s been a slower start for me to set up as a therapist, with ongoing development via the college in the meantime, I am confident for the future. Highly recommend.

Being a teacher of 20 years I was very impressed by the resources provided by the college. I did the live diploma and the staff delivering the sessions were brilliant. Their knowledge and enthusiasm shone through and brought the subject to life.

I am in the middle of the online diploma course and I think it is exceptional. The material is intensive and extensive leaving no stone unturned. The design of the course is incredibly supportive with coaching calls and practise sessions making the online learning experience inclusive and enjoyable. There are tutors and sessions available to help navigate setting up your business and ongoing support available once qualified. I can't recommend the school highly enough!

Having completed previous training in CBT and hypnosis the idea of combining these disciplines appealed to me so I signed up for the course. It was one of the best decisions of my life.

I loved the online learning tool, its helpful, I found the hypnosis plus cbt aspect very helpful.

Good practicals and extensive backup material. The fellow students were a highlight.

To get through so much material the training focus, organisation and support need to be good. Unfortunately this is where, to my mind, UKHypnosis fell short.

A very intense and fascinating course, with first class supportive tutors, I recommend this course which is practical, vocational and offers historical and psychological contexts to Cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy, I have completed stages 1 and 2 and after breaking my left leg slipping on the ice hope to complete the course in spring 2024

CBH course is rigorous and independently accredited and encourages a critical and creative approach to tailoring therapy to each client and their goals. Outstanding. There will be a considerable amount of techniques and skills you can bring into your practice. Everyone, from Mark to the admin staff and my coach, Andrea, has been amazing! I felt supported and had a desire to teach knowledgeable professions during the whole training period. Thank you so much to a brilliant team for your ongoing support. I studied for my Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy with the UKCHH. The plan was to use my new career as an exit strategy from my existing (and VERY stressful) job in the NHS. However, throughout the courses, I learnt so many highly effective stress management strategies for my clients, that I eventually learned to cope with my original career, which has now flourished and I have my mojo back!
I did also manage to set up a side project and I do work as a cognitive behavioural hypnotherapist as well, blending my clinical and therapy skills to help my patients and clients in a way I never dreamed I could.
What attracted me to the UKCHH as opposed to other organisations and colleges was its focus on use of EVIDENCE based teaching. As a clinician I need to see evidence before learning and practicing something.
The course was so well taught, with a variety of such enthusiastic, knowledgeable and likeable trainers, many of whom are experts in the field.
Many of us from my course are still very much involved and part of the college, a testament to its strength and attractiveness as an organisation.
If you’re considering a career in hypnotherapy, don’t bother looking elsewhere. You won’t find anywhere better!
