The company is run day-to-day by the owner, a civil engineer with over a decade of experience delivering projects of varying scale and complexity. We begin with a free site visit and provide a detailed, itemised quotation with full cost transparency. Once a project is confirmed, we take care of everything — including procurement, scheduling, and managing all trades — through to completion and final handover. Efficient, excellent service
Plumber Noor was pleasant, professional and efficient when he replaced our leaking, vibrating kitchen tap. He explained what had gone wrong and how the replacement tap had fixed the problem. He was respectful of our home, taking his shoes off when he arrived. Excellent service.

Floor tiling
Hamid just completed a tricky repair to our kitchen floor. He had to replace three cracked tiles (120x60) with three spares that we had. No room for error! The job was done carefully and very well.

Very reliable and an excellent service

Good experience with change of locks
As a result of a stolen handbag, we lost some keys to our front door along with our address, so there was a risk that the thief would enter our house. This necessitated a change to the locks on the front door. Upper Street Handyman visited promptly to assess the job and their staff persisted with chasing when delays occurred procuring a particular lock to replace the old one. Everyone on their team was helpful and kept us in touch throughout the process.

I’ve used Upper St Handyman for a couple odd jobs, the workers on site are generally good but the administrative side could be better. The quality of the project management varies depending who is overseeing the job. While I appreciate the workmanship enhancing the quality of management would improve the overall experience as no one wants to chase for updates

I have used this company a couple of times and both times they performed the work to a good quality at a fair price. Their workers are always polite and careful in the home. My plumber last time (Noor) was very good.

Repair to garden wall, Islington
Our front garden wall was hit by some sort of vehicle and sustained considerable damage re. cracking to the side and the knocking out of line of the front pillar. This is an old [period] wall and we did not want to replace it. Our instructions were followed to the letter and the young bricklayer sent to repair the wall did a most sympathetic job. He was punctual, polite, and obviously highly skilled. A good job very well done.
