Totally a SCAM.......Went on unitedstatesautoglass.com ....referred installer from Travelers Auto Glass....Quoted $411 price.....installer comes installs. Won't take credit card (didn't tell me that when I called nor on website), only takes cash or cash app. Ulimately overpaid.......by double. DONT DO IT......

If you were also scammed by united states auto glass, please file a complaint with the Florida Attorney General.
The FL Attorney General's office said they need multiple victims to act.

I was scammed by a company calling itself US Auto Glass (321-472-3111). Here's what happened:

Quoted $398 windshield replacement with a promised $300 Visa rebate.

When the technician arrived, he demanded a $400 upcharge for the rubber seal and even threatened to put a lien on my car. Despite my objection, my card was charged $920.20, even though the invoice was only $860.

The promised rebates never arrived!!!!

When I called to complain, I was ignored or placed on hold indefinitely. Meanwhile, new "customers" calling in were still being offered the same false rebate deal (I have recordings of this).

This is not a one-off mistake -- it's a systematic fraud.

I urge you to contact other regulators and file an official complaint action can be taken:

Do NOT trust this company. It's a typical scam company. The technician they sent to me behaved like a rascal, very greedily asking to double the amount agreed upon before making the appt. Then he threatened you if you do not have the business with them. When you called their company, the person picking up the call behaved no better than a rascal!
The agreed upon price was $398 and with a $300 cash back rebate. I agreed and made the appt. When the "technician" came, in the middle of the work, he asked for $400 more because he said that the frame was crooked so he needed to replace it also or when it rains, the rain will get into my car. I did not want him to work on it because I realized it was a scam. Then he threatened to me. It ended in very unpleasantly. The guy is a total scammer if not the company. I wonder why such dishonest "technician" was hired to cheat clients. There is nothing he needs to put on the glass except some glue, which he said cost at least $400. He is a robber. Do not use this company, at least this technician whose name begins with "T". Oh, man, you aer first person I have seen in auto companies who cheats clients shamelessly.

Called was quoted a price came out and said I need a seal as well and the cost for that was $400.00. Windshield already out of the car. Total cost for the replacement far exceeded the original quote.
Only accepted cash, receipt has no letterhead on it.
Promised a visa gift card most likely that is also part of their scam. The company truck has no company markings on it unknown that it is even part of a legitimate company. Made a call back to the original number called to set up the appointment got no satisfaction from there made you feel like you don't know what you were talking about. Not at all happy with being scammed into thinking I was dealing with a legitimate company up front.

Awesome service! This is the second time that I have used them and they provide excellent service, great communication at a really good price. You can't ask for anything better than that! Great service! I was done a day earlier than promised and cheaper than anywhere else. Definitely would use this company again.

This is a scam. They quote a competitive price if you agree to it not knowing better they come they take your windshield out then they let you know that the seal cannot be reused, and a new seal is needed. This is not part of the original bid. Because the windshield in now out and your original seal is ruin you are now in a bind and you either have a car without a windshield or agree to pay the additional $400. At the end you find out they only take cash. Do yourself a favor and go with a better company. They offer a lifetime warranty, but I was not given on in writing as the tech did not have such thing. The tech could also not explain why they are not licensed to conduct business in Florida.

All scam be aware same thing happened to me I was quoted $338 for windshield replacement than they told me that the vehicle needs new seal which is $400 +labor and tax jumped up to $1120 and they just accept cash.i will report them to Business bureau

This company is a complete scam I was quoted $338 for my broken window from vandalism in my apartment complex ; suspect did it to 5 other vehicles at that time; when the technician arrived I should’ve known something was up van was unmarked told me the regulator needed to be replaced and it would be an additional $400 ok fine however when it was all said and done my total was $1120 ridiculous never told me I needed cash or anything; prices definitely weren’t told to me in detail ; was also told I would get 2 of the bullshit gift cards sent to my email never received them; I was told it would take 3 days yea another lie then when I call them the MFs blocked my number ; so I have my dad call on his phone what a coincidence they answer hmmmm ; then I stated to the gentleman that he needs to just stop lying and be honest he told me I was acting like an idiot wowwwww some customer service i hate I didn’t do my research like I usually do but here we are then the technician had his girlfriend in the car the whole time ; don’t ever I mean ever use this company the. They blocked my dads number as well I have notified the Orange County sheriff department of this company please don’t let I happen to you

I don’t know why you’re responding when clearly everyone has stated you’re not accurate; so I’m assuming someone is impersonating your business yea ok b.s : like I said this company is a scam and do not book anything with them

My installation for order number 11418-was completed on11/3/23. However, I have not received any warranty on the front windshield replacement for my car. I have to call the local vendor Arzu twice, and messaged her requesting a warranty-but no response. I emailed US Autoglass for a copy of the warranty, and also spoke with Jennifer at 1888-470-2293-but still not have received any warranty. I hope I can resolve this issue because this is very disappointing. Thank you

Edited to say: Okay, I did get an email from this company with the quote so I'm not so worried that they are a scam. I'm upping them to three stars, but they don't get any more because it was an unsettling experience and all they had to do was either not gather all my information before giving me a price, or make their website tell me that it had accepted my info, or have an answering machine answer their phone if they couldn't.
My original review read, in part: Is this even a real business or did I just give my contact info to a scam site? Nobody answers the telephone and filling out the on-line quote page gets nothing except a return to the blank 'fill out the quote form' page.

Quoted one price and then called with a lot higher price plus stated they didn't have mobile service available. Stated we didn't fill the form out correctly...we did mark everything associated with our vehicle. Then they blamed it on their system...excuses are easier than standing behind their quote, sad. Filing a complaint with the BBB and Iowa States Attorney.
